Here are the highlights of the great game tonight between the Magpies and the Red Devils that finally ended up 3-3 after Newcastle had fought back from being 2-0 down.
A phenomenal comeback by our lads.
Watch the reaction of the crowd when Dummett’s goal goes in – it was one of the best Premier League games of the season tonight.

Comment #2Van gaal has a cheek. Fair enough our penalty that we got could be debated but I think we should have got 2 earlier on even right at the end on Young toney who was rugby tackled off the ball. Not mentioning the fact that their penalty was very harsh on us. Plus the fact that Fellini and smalling weren’t sent off. Tool.

Comment #3Toonbrother……how can you call yourself a fan. Your obsession with one player is embarrassing enough, but to put that video link up half way through a game, when the rest of us were hurting and screaming at the tv, has me seriously contemplating your TOON loyalty.
Please desist, change you name or just Fock off.

Defensive frailties very apparent as Janmaat bombs forward but plods back, something Mbemba has started doing at times, no way Lingaard should run off both of them.
However, the play was much better in the final third, good link up play, good running from deep, plenty of chances.
Still feel an out and out goal scorer in the mould of Shearer or Drogba would have us about 6/7 places higher.

You never replied to my post, I’ll take that as a way of saying that I’m right. Plus you do realise that it’s actually been over a year that you’ve been going on about coloccini? That’s actually quite sad when you think about it.

Yes ,more delusional than attention seeking and to put that clip up and have a go at Colo who did all the right things being last man just confirms it.
He will disappear as usual with Colo playing well and it not being a defeat

Comment #20we deserved to win as the ref made some bad choices there esp on peno’s imo.
our guys played great but yes perez was not great and the same goes for dummett apart from the goal and janmaats crossing and sissoko’s not wanting to come back and losing the ball easily but overall a brilliant display.
so very very happy for mitrovic today with 2 assists and 1 goal all be it a pen as it will hopefully give him confidence and he was a real handfull today but he does need someone besides him.
just imagine saivet in tiote’s place and shelvey in colbacks place !

For me the best cross of the match came early on from Ashley young, dummied the initial cross then hit the second one with real pace, bend away from the keeper and at a great height.
If we had somebody putting crosses in like that every week I think Mitrovic would do much better. For all his reputation he doesn’t win headers the way Carroll could, he needs good service not floated balls in.

Comment #26Even Manure fan Webb says the foul on Janmaat was a pen, so that’s stonewall! Bigger point is he was through on goal and it prevented a goalscoring opportunity, which is a red card. Fellaini should’ve been off for his kick at Collo following his long deserved yellow. All in all shocking performance from Dean – or should I say typical. Missing these games is killing me. I hope they solve the problem before the mackem game. All in all, to come back from 2-0 & 3-2 showed immense character and pride. I’m proud of them anyway. Saivet and Shelvey and whoever else we sign will strengthen the team. That light at the end of the tunnel has just grown slightly. 😉

Comment #27I cannot fault the effort but we do lack quality up front. Mitro is just a lump with no pace and cannot jump and will score 8 goals a season as a centre forward (not good enough) and Perez is a lightweight. He may score 10 goals a season but needs to be in a dominant team. In a struggling team he is a luxury we do not need. We need to sign a proven striker otherwise we will be in a relegation struggle until May. Very good team effort tonight except up front. We lack quality there but they also put in a shift and for that reason will have my backing.

Comment #28Wat we really need is a striker with real pace the amount of times recently that we get the ball in the middle without an outlet or ball to play is shocking
but on the plus side we hear the word “squad” after buying a player how fuskin refreshing maybe after 9 bloody years they’ve realised that a good squad is important! !!!

Comment #31colo was a rock again today !
i’m not a huge fan and i have personally slated him for a hell of a long time saying he’s way past it and even to date i think we desp need his replacement as i think it’s only a matter of time before he makes another howler !
but come on over the last 3 or so games the lads been one of the best cb’s i’ve seen and his partnership with mbemba looks great ! if anything mbemba was the weaker of the 2 today.

Comment #32You can’t say you’re always right except for one instance. You’re just admitting that you’re not always right in the same sentence. Lmao.
Plus last January you were saying all this positive stuff about Mcclaren and anyone who thought otherwise was actually an idiot. Now that you’re admitting that you were wrong about that doesn’t that make you the idiot?

Comment #36Remember when Collo was shagging a local lass and his wife left him? Most definitely must have been toonbrothers wife. Collo has surprised me these last few weeks, he’s looking better than for the last two seasons. He was even shouting his mouth off, which is what you need off a captain. He saved us more than once tonight. Toonbrother is just a sick joke. Probably a mackem anyway.

Comment #37Im still in two minds still about this game. Came back to draw twice which is great and unheard of for the past few years. Then again, we played well the second half and actually dominated them in parts, they couldn’t leave their half in parts. We could have really won this game.

Comment #38And on dummet how can people blame him for Rooney goal if anyone’s played football and it’s hit ya like it hit him there is no way ya can control that unless ya world class or lucky and he wasn’t either
but he did stop plenty of crosses and matched marshial for pace as well as a great block and a great goal (it was going in anyways! )
In other words better than hiadara and Mbabu

Comment #40I can’t understand people saying Mitro can’t jump or win the ball in the air.
Check out Gini’s goal, Mitro wins the ball in the air against 2 defenders and puts it on a plate. The other 2 came from him being a nuisance and fighting for the ball.
I’d be more critical of the service, it’s limited and lacking at best.
I personally think he’ll come good, but I’d prefer he had a different partner to Perez.
