Brilliant Wijnaldum Tweets Message To Newcastle Fans

10:41 pm, Saturday, January 16th, 2016 by Dr. Ed Harrison · 9 Comments

Georginio Wijnaldum had a great game for us today as he glided past players with that supreme movement of his when running with the ball and with a little luck he could have had a hat-trick today, but as it turned out he scored his 9th goal of the season with a great team goal that was quite brilliantly set up by new signing Jonjo Shelvey and Daryl Janmaat.

Here’s what Gini tweeted after the game today.

    @Blackley: Continuing from last thread-

    Yeah, he didn’t fill me with confidence but like I said, he was nervous and coming into a massive, noisy (imagine that!) stadium for the first time. I think he suddenly realised what he had walked into. As long as he’s an improvement from Anita, I’m a happy man.

    I’d love to have Anita back. Would be a nice fit alongside Shelvey.

    Wayne Hennessey is going to lose his meal to King Percy at the palace next week.

    Everton manager wasn’t complaining about the referee the other night when he denied Man City a blatant pen in the last few minutes. 🙂

    Man up Robert!

    I thought coalback
    Did well today in midfield and we missed his central role when he went to fullback ,whilst Shelley was great he needs a tough tackler alongside him
