Winaldum had his worst game in a while but he seemed to be playing out wide. He has to start in the no10 role, he’s our only real goal threat.

Mitrovic, winaldum, sissoko, Shelvey all had off days today. If these 4 players play to their best, we’d win most games.

Huge come down after last week.

I think Steeves formation caused us more trouble then Watford, poor set up IMO.

Have to get berahino in now surely, he’d take those one on one chances and his pace worries defenders. Mitrovic will come good but we need a premier league striker.

Do wonder if we missed out not taking a chance on Afobe.

Watford weren’t that good really, any other premier league team would have won. But we were so poor we just couldn’t handle what quality they have.

Shelvey showed today what he is capable of, being a brand new Rolls Royce one week and a broken down old Ford Granada the next week.

I’ve backed Mitro every week and thought he was just being unlucky, however today he was shocking and didn’t look interested. The one chance he had any decent centre forward would have split the net with that chance.

It’s starting to become a tough one for MA does he pump more money into a doomed team? It’s getting to the stage it may be too late, he may have to gamble with what we’ve got, like Villa. I think we’re to far gone to repair.

That was desperate stuff today – as some others have said we need several more players or we are going down.

Need more players and get rid of all the knackers who are running the club. Penfold, Wally Blusterman need sacking.
I do add that the architect to this is Mr Tubbs – he is primarily responsible.
Wally is yesterdays man -whoever suggested him/backed him should be sacked as well.
    Total clearout needed.

We put in a decent performance and were unlucky to lose. We need to be patient and we will be OK. We have lost twice to Watford this season so we should not expect to beat them. They are a decent team. Steve is starting to get to grips with the problems and will sort things out before we get into serious trouble. \keep the faith.

Only consolation is CP are dropping like a stone.

What did carr ever really see in mitro. he can’t beat anyone with pace or skill and seems to totally mistime his jumps at crosses.

If we have to beg remy then get it done, a pacy striker who knows where the net is, cos the current lot couldn’t hit the proverbial barn door. While we’re at it Guerreiro for LB please

You know the game is up when you see gouffran come on. How can Shelvey be so night and day from last week!

We have a pile of absolute s–t mainly from france with gouff, obertan, marv, thauvin etc.

SM stop writing emails and get some proper management done.

Our only hope this season is Norwich and Swansea look very poor I think sunderland and villa will go down as with Norwich Swansea or Newcastle hopefully we can get out of it. We need a goalscorer in the last 8 says of the windows to have any hope luckily orur next game ain’t till the window closes

I haven’t seen the game but just watched the video highlights. For the first goal it seems Colo was ball watching? Is that right? Their striker takes advantage to slip away. When Colo wakes up, it’s all too late. That’s what it looks like to me. This is what some of us have been saying. Toonbrother’s been pointing it out but people don’t see it. It’s the story of our season. Can’t score snd can’t defend.

We’re already in serious trouble, we’re in the bottom three have no top striker and a poor defence and are very inconsistent.

Poor penny pinching scouting for several years has finally caught up and could cost at least another 100 Mil of correct scouting to put right.

Just watched it on SSN he pulls that face like he’s having a shite and says we’re not scoring enough away from home, the commitment is there, the organisation is there and we’re playing good football just not getting results, we shouldn’t have to keep scoring two to get a result.

SM “We will not go down!” Keep saying it Steve and three Hail Marys and it might all go away like a bad dream. Like a captain on the bridge of a sinking ship. Gurgle. Gurgle. The only redeeming feature is the fact that Carr will be doing the recruiting. Do not let us down Graham. We expect some shit centre forward from Marseille costing 15 million and we hope he can score more than two goals but I doubt it.

Does anybody ever get the sack at Newcastle anymore or can all the executives be shit all the time and then get a pay rise??? Do you have to shoot the Pope or the Queen to be dismissed? Just being shit at your job seems to be a badge of honour bringing you into Ashleys inner circle.
