What more do you want mate? You got the British that you wanted and requested for. Face facts modern British managers are shite.

Biggest mistake today was taking off saivet who did better than both Shelvey and Sissoko. He was itching to get Townsend on the right and in doing so gifted the game to Everton in that 2nd half!!

In all seriousness though, I was expecting nothing from the game and got exactly that. The most important thing the game showed is that both Shelvey and Sissoko can’t play the holding role and are no good as protection for the back 4.

Mitro missed 1 very good chance but they could have had 7 or 8 we were that bad

Bambams March & April big months. You think it could go to last match of the season Home to Spurs. I think ironically we could be relegated the week before Away at Villa. Ring any bells?
Apparently according to Steve Ryder if we don’t win Saturday David Moyes in waiting to take over. Boring football but grinds out results or he did at Everton.

Gotta say with our defence leaking goals regular it’s gonna be very hard to get out the mess we’re in.Add to that the total lack of goals and consistency,it all spells disaster.

Praising pards but having a go at the frenchies buddy. Throughout most of the window until it was pointed out to you, then you slightly altered tact.

In all honesty I think McClaren needs to go. I’ve had a dig at young Shelvey tonight but he needs to show he has the fight. Swansea have really kicked on since he left, poor team performance but baffling changes by Schteve

What I don’t understand is – he should have started Mitro whilst he rightly had Townsend on left and Sissoko on right – but instead – away from home he starts Perez (which means the ball doesnt stick when played up top) AND

then when he finally gets Mitro on and you think some crosses are going to be put in for him to head – he SWITCHES the wingers so that they are then going to be more inclined to cut in and not to go to the byline and cross with their strong foot.

    How ILLOGICAL is that?!

I actually think Lascelles (apart from the Red) was decent – strong and he played the ball out of defence – if Mac had started with him and Mbemba from the start of the season they may have been decently solid by now!

Colo’s backing off time and time again and allowing the shot is unforgiveable whether or not he was at fault for any goal today.

This blog has now turned on McClaren who we all know shouldn’t have got the job in the first place but nobody else wanted it. You can band around all the big names under the sun but nobody will come to work under Ashley. Things may be different now however now he has splashed the cash. Thing is we are still stuck with a dodgy chairman an old scout & a clueless manager with the man with the cash knowing nowt about football. No Moyes isn’t the answer (another Man U reject. )
We are not going to resolve this problem without getting most of the injured players plying again and time is fast running out.

I’ll repeat mitro missed a very good chance but they could have had 7 or 8 we were that bad. If that’s a lie or you disagree, would you say otherwise?

Agreed saivet did alit better than Watford today and probably our best midfielder, was mad bringing him off, especially as townsend did nothing all game and the same for sissoko… Sissoko’s awful on the wing I don’t see what he brings there can’t dribble can’t shoot can’t cross, so neither as a traditional winger or a wide forward is he any use whatsoever… Need to have him tiote and saivet in a midfield three and try to cover this defence abit, alternate Perez and wiji either side of doumbia/cisse

P.s for god’s sake not bloody Moyes!

Moyes – please no – another poor manager.
Wally Blusterman cannot cut the mustard all his promises etc will not transform the team.
Danger is of course if they sack him it will be another knacker.
Is Wally pulling rank over Cathro/Simpson -do they have input – is Wally ignoring it -what is the advice.
Regardless they’ve conspired to cock things up since the summer.
    Blusterman has to go.
With Townsend not playing for a while I’d nearly forgot why I didn’t want him in the first place – but backed him – he has reminded me of why I didnt want him – he is poor – he is no dynamic wingman.
Young Aarons – too much hype about him – another not good enough.
There were others who deserve no credit- Everton were crap and still beat us.

even pardew got us in the top half on quite a few occasions
but best not say that on here because he had the best squad ever and all that
half the french squad infact at 1 point forgetting the fact that it was the worst french team in a long long time
but hey that was his fault too

I didn`t expect points today. I see Everton as a better side, with far superior vision and tactics. The same can be said about most other teams in the Premier League now – which is why Newcastle is battling relegation.

Still, I expected to see some guts and exciting play. But the game was ridiculously bad. I didn`t see any will to have a go at them. We never caught them out of balance.
Selections, substitutes, tactics, it was all poor today – from the managers side. Add in that the team itself is playing in low gear, and you have a recipe for disaster.
A little list of what went wrong:
    – Trying to cross the ball towards Pèrez and Wijnaldum when they were playing against Jagielka and Funes Mori.
    – Playing Aarons at LB (seriously, what in the world is he thinking)
    – Not bringing Doumbia on. He`s already scored lots of goals this season on a high level, and is statistically VERY prolific. We need goals!
    – Mitrovic keeps missing the 100% chances. He needs to get some composure and start scoring. Otherwise, he`s just frustrating and slow to watch.
    – Shelvey needs to work on his body language. It`s OK telling your teammates to do better, but try making an example instead of half-jogging around.
    – Having Dummett as first-choice LB. He`s barely Football League 1-standard.
    – Again failing to show exactly what kind of role Wijnaldum is supposed to have in our build-up-play.

    Etc.

We all know ashley is the root of the demise of this club. There is not a lot we can do about him, unless some of you are stupidly wealthy. What we see on a weekly basis is a poorly run football team. If we go down , who knows when we will ever come back. it wont be like 09/10 season. get rid of eddie windass and we might have a chance

Vantoon agree with alot if that! Thought lacelles did alright other than the penalty, and whilst Colo wasn’t at fault for any goals today for a change, he did give the ball away alot… And the whole defence had no shape and was well out of position most of the gamee, which you could argue Colo as the experienced defender should be organising, like wise as captain he needs to be doing more, miss the likes of Nolan Barton and cabaye badly in the middle, no bite atall, add to that they can’t pass or beat a player and it explains why the ball doesn’t make it as far as the opposition box…
