This Former Hero Still A Huge Newcastle Fan

There was an outpouring of love and support from one of our former players yesterday before the vital game against West Brom which we won 1-0.

Jonas tweeted his heart out in support of everything Newcastle before the game.

The only thing that wasn´t right about the game was the shoreline as we again missed chances galore,  but apart from that it was one of our best performances of the season and two of our new signings – Jonjo Shelvey and Andros Townsend – showed what a difference they can make to the Newcastle team.

Steven Taylor, Rolando Aarons and Cheick Tiote also made a huge difference to the team with Cheick fighting it out with Jonjo Shelvey for our Man of the Match

Here´s the terrific support Newcastle received from Jonas before the game yesterday:

We will never forget how great Jonas was for us in the last game of last season when we beat West Ham 2-0 to stay in the Premier League and of course he scored the second goal late in the game to ensure the win.

TBH I really loved our squad yesterday, I loved that line up! and I prefer it as well (switch Saylor with Mbemba, and aarons with Haidara when healthy).

But my favorite part of the line up is Tiote and Jonjo partnership in Midfield. they compliment each other elegantly. as Tiote is more of a holding CM while shelvey is more of an attacking one. Yet Tiote is much more calm on the ball than colback or anita, and constantly looks for jonjo.

May I remind all of you, that our last great game, was against west ham, in Jonjo’s debut, where he played amazingly well (along with our whole team). And guess who our central Mids were, thats right JONJO and TIOTE!

since then Tiote has been out of the squad, and Jonjo disappeared! and with Jonjo disappearing we lost our heart in midfield and the whole team played like shit.

Then Tiote and Jonjo paired again yesterday, and what a game they had, Jonjo played like JONJO and the whole team performed.

I always rated Tiote, at least he is better than colback and anita (much better) and his best play always comes when he has an attacking Mid alongside hm, hence Cabaye and Jonjo, and he hasnt had one since cabaye so he seemed out of touch. But now with Jonjo I feel like they would be lethal together, and if macca has any sense he wouldnt break them up for colback or anita

Actually looke like we had a ” spine” yesterday : Elliot – Taylor – Shelvey – Mitro
Take note Steve, some physical presence adds confidence to the players around them..

How come Wanyama was sent off against Southampton yet two very bad , deliberate and dangerous fouls by WBA players didn’t even get air time on MOD to scrutinise Lee Masons decision making ?

A mate of mine said he saw jonas a couple of season’s ago driving itch his window open singing his heart out. He was so happy to play for the toon. And dos Townsend an Jonjo are giving out similar vibes. Wanting to play for the toon is three q jar terms of the battle.
