It´s Happy Birthday To A Great Man – A True Inspiration

It would have been Sir Bobby Robson´s 83rd birthday today.

Bobby is one of our all time heroes and he was a wonderful man and a true inspiration.

Just think what Bobby would get out of the current Newcastle side – we´d be in the top six – at least.

Bobby was a true coach in every sense of the word – he always got the very best out of the players he had available.

He was a genius at that and a true leader of men.

Sir Bobby Robson

Here´s the tweet sent out by Newcastle United but Bobby was born in Sacriston, County Durham in 1933 so they have the age wrong.

Aye sadly missed is Bobby, At least he does not have to witness the diabolical state our (and his) beloved Newcastle are in.

I’ll bet he would have had a few things to say about, and to the idiots in charge.

    RIP Bobby, fondly remembered.

    Sadly missed.

Meanwhile back at the Asylum the Chronicle reports McLaren is to be given more time to turn things around … ?
    In the year 2525 ( there’s a song in there )

And Mitrovic out injured…. It’s going to take longer than they think

Not now, Our lass has has got up and started talking, my lonely fantasy is inevitably drifting away to be replaced by the days orders.

    Damn you REALITY!

It seems that the powers that be at SJP can’t even get a simple thing like getting SBR’s birthday right.

Sir Bobby – taken too young.

83 today – not an unusual age these days.

Thanks for everything Sir Bobby, and if you can swing anything our way to survive relegation, I’m sure you will.

    RIP Sir Bobby.

Haven’t impressed by Saivet. He looked lightweight and nervous.Carr is a good scout but his talent looks faded recently.

As someone who has recently had to use the NCCC at the Freeman I never realised what a fantastic legacy he left for everybody in the North East. RIP Sir Bobby
