Poll Results – What Newcastle Fans Expect At Stoke

If our poll results for the game tonight at Stoke City are anything to go by we will not get much joy out of the game with 55% of voters expecting us to lose this game – which we have done over the last three seasons.

This follows last night´s results when a stoppage time goal gave Sunderland a 2-2 draw at home to Crystal Palace and they move above both Newcastle and Norwich – who lost 2-1 at home to Chelsea.

Aston Villa were beaten 3-1 at home to Everton, but Bournemouth won 2-0 at home to Southampton – a great result for them.

ehh, I’m baffled by Ed, we may be in the bottom 2 but the results have been great for us, the teams around us have played 2 games more, so it leaves it in our hands right now, which is a million times better than hoping others do you a favour.

vote leave the EU, and hope Trump becomes president.

my first choice is Sanders, but he isn’t doing so well against the cheats. trump don’t need the money, and he will shake up the whole system.

Question 1: if/when we lose against Stoke will McLaren be sacked ? And question 2 is: who would be prepared to give up 3 points if McLaren was guaranteed to be sacked ?

We are very unlikely to beat Stoke let’s be honest

We are terrible and don’t look like we are going to get any better Stoke may be average but we don’t/can’t compete

Shame this holiday from NUFC is over I rather enjoyed it

Makems picking up a knock or two to key players, just at the wrong time. O Shea has recurring calf trouble, Clattermole maybe a concussion from last night. Norwich defenders nutted each other and are struggling…
We are reduced to not only relying on others to slip up, but also others to face injury troubles. But we are in the claggy stuff so we’ll take it!
Thankfully we have some players coming back to fitness and are fresher after a ‘quiet’ couple of weeks.
We need 3 points minimum from these 2 games. 4 would be nice. 6…..? Dreamland!

    1. Hopefully.
    2. With us where we are in the league and in the calendar, no. We really need every point we can get to survive.

I agree, but what if we lose the next two matches? Would that wake Charmless from his slumbers?

Bloggers would have a much better and enjoyable experience if they could just accept that McClaren is here for at least the full term of his 3 year contract .
Move the dialogue on from when will SM be down the road. It ain’t going to happen , Ashley doesn’t do simple.
