  • 5 santon3 // Mar 5, 2016 at 5:50 PM

All I want to see tomorrow headlines “SM HAS BEEN SACKED!! MAZZARI TO REPLACE”

  • 6 sparky55 // Mar 5, 2016 at 5:51 PM

I’m now officially an arm chair supporter til the fat cnut sells the club and gives us back our dignity.

I’ll watch my club anywhere in the country they take me, no matter what division and no matter what standard…but only when the club is in the hands of someone else who appoints a board with footballing experience and knowledge that will take us back into the premiership.

Until then I’ve just joined the ranks of the totally disillusioned and won’t return til he’s gone.

It’s all coming down to the game against the mackems to see if w can even stay close to survival. This was a hard loss. But why start Riviere? Why not Doumbia? Complete madness. McLaren is lost. Charnley is lost. Ashley has disappeared. Situation normal then.

  • 8 Hail Wor Ashley // Mar 5, 2016 at 5:53 PM

Bit harsh , Al, We were full of beans and swagger for the opening 4 minutes, give them credit.

  • 9 GeordieTwo // Mar 5, 2016 at 5:53 PM

Sardonic humour there catchy mate. Yes, give Steve more time. That’s all he needs is more time. We’ve only just started to play well. A few bits of bad luck yes, but mainly we’re a top, top team according to Steve.

  • 10 NUFCmagpie // Mar 5, 2016 at 5:53 PM

Why did we even bring in Doumbia if we’re not going to use him!?! F@CK STEVE MCLAREN!! If he’s not fired come tomorrow Newcastle are going down

  • 11 juan // Mar 5, 2016 at 5:54 PM

Easy 3 points for the mackems in 2 weeks

  • 12 SPRINGY // Mar 5, 2016 at 5:54 PM

the derby really could get humiliating and thats after a live skysports humping off leicester on monday.

  • 13 sparky55 // Mar 5, 2016 at 5:56 PM

once the fat cnut sells the joint once we’re either in the championship or the 1st devision, I would bet a million dollars KK would come back to get us back to a decent level.

  • 14 GeordieTwo // Mar 5, 2016 at 5:57 PM

The problem with having a gutless owner is times like these. He’s down his hole now and nothing will bring him back up…..

  • 15 martoon // Mar 5, 2016 at 5:57 PM

Just got back in from the match – we were truly shocking. I never thought we were going down but now I’m not so sure 🙁

  • 16 toon kk // Mar 5, 2016 at 5:58 PM

At least Sunderland are trying, we have no desire.
Very poor! Although Macca needs to go, our players don’t deserve to be paid they didn’t earn them.

  • 17 GeordieTwo // Mar 5, 2016 at 5:59 PM

No springy mate, Steve has a perfect game plan for Leicester. It’s Mitro up front by himself…. Yes, that’s it, our salvation is at hand. Just chant “Mitro up front by himself” along with the rest of us now…..

  • 18 Munster Mag // Mar 5, 2016 at 5:59 PM

Ashley, go on your fat knees and beg keegan to come back

  • 19 ilovetoon8788 // Mar 5, 2016 at 5:59 PM

Mackems are guaranteed their usual 3 points.. We are doomed. Can’t believe the board were so confident of survival during the fans forum.

The la manga trip did f all for this lads.

  • 20 SPRINGY // Mar 5, 2016 at 6:00 PM

i thought today was telling….we needed to win that game but we never even made it a competition…..i usually get really up for the derbys but this next one scares the shit out me.

  • 21 GeordieTwo // Mar 5, 2016 at 6:02 PM

If I was Doumbia I would be going mad with frustration. What is the point of bringing him in to sit on the bench? McLaren wake up! Starting Riviere? You should go back to Derby and beg for your job back. Take Charnley with you and see if they need someone to clean the bog.

  • 22 toon kk // Mar 5, 2016 at 6:02 PM

I could have told you we would go down before the season kicked off. Our weaknesses weren’t addressed in both transfer windows, and we’ve been a lacklustre lazy bunch of no hopers for a long time.

  • 23 Charge // Mar 5, 2016 at 6:03 PM

What’s Graeme Souness upto these days?

  • 24 GeordieTwo // Mar 5, 2016 at 6:03 PM

    Boom, boom, boom boom boom!
    Boom boom boom boom!
    We suck!!!

  • 25 bettyswallocks // Mar 5, 2016 at 6:03 PM

No balance in the side from the kick off . He then realises there are huge spaces on the left so puts Wijnaldum there where he doesn’t fit.
Then he has them lumping it up to Mitro with no support from Gini who is stuck out on the wing. Wijnaldum running into the box from midfield has been our best source of goals ffs.

McC seems to have lost the plot for sure and also the respect of the players and most of the fans.

  • 26 SPRINGY // Mar 5, 2016 at 6:04 PM

probs laughing his arse off at us!

  • 27 croftus5678 // Mar 5, 2016 at 6:08 PM

the blame goes to macca on this one for me !

yes i know the players are the ones who are on the pitch but we set up negative have negative changes and wonder why our players dont have confidence !

our defence played well apart from saylors stupid own goal and i dont blame lescalles like others do for the second as he was wrong sided of 4 bournmouth players and if he had gone for it then it would have been 100% peno and a sending off.

third goal was just us caught out as we had to throw everything forward and they defended by backing off again and trying to create time for people to get back which is very silly imo.

shelvey/wijnaldum and janmaat are our only creative players and the only players who move.

and perez just loses the ball far too much trying to do it alone but he is not with it skill wise to do that yet and imo needs to be played way up front alongside the main striker.

  • 28 Tsunki // Mar 5, 2016 at 6:09 PM

Well I suppose now we WILL have ten games to judge him 😐

  • 29 GeordieTwo // Mar 5, 2016 at 6:09 PM

You could have driven a semi through the holes in our midfield. If they hadn’t got in each others’ way a few times they would have had 5. When things go bad we have a few players who give up. Sissoko is one of them. Wini disappears as well. Shelvey made the only decent pass of the game for us for the goal. By the end Colback had completely abandoned his position at LB. WE look undisciplined and lost out there. McLaren has lost the plot and must go.

  • 30 SPRINGY // Mar 5, 2016 at 6:09 PM

gini on the left….played there before …been shite on more then one occasion…..perez pushed right in and out of the game there and loses the ball a lot….for his movement and touch should be second striker or att/mid….aarons on the right did nowt!…..had his few best games on the left….sissoko full of running but always down blind alleys with very little end product!

  • 31 tabuk toon army // Mar 5, 2016 at 6:14 PM

In fairness Souness was the pundit on BEin sport in Dubai today he only had good things to say about Newcastle and there fans He did say it was the most difficult job he has had in management though because we are a big club and the pressure to win something is enormous. H said none of the players at the other clubs at the bottom have the pressure that toon players have because we are a huge club and expect and deserve better

  • 32 maikelw // Mar 5, 2016 at 6:15 PM

When is Mike Ashley going to take some serious actions? I presume if some of his managers fail to perform the will be demoted or be sacked. Lee Charnley has proven not to be fit to be managing director. Why should a manager get a contract for 5-6 year without haven proven anything?

  • 33 GeordieTwo // Mar 5, 2016 at 6:16 PM

Right then! I’ve told my people to prepare my resume. It’s a lot of work getting over there and getting my own people in but it’s worth the effort. First match. Doumbia and Mitro up front with Wij in behind. Hopefully Townsend will be fit again to play one wing and Perez the other. Shelvey in the middle. It’s 4-3-1-2 for the rest of the season!!!

  • 34 TacoFlavoredKisses ForMyBen-arfa // Mar 5, 2016 at 6:17 PM

My source inside said Maca is NOT to be sacked. The story of him needing 4 points between bourn and stoke game was FALSE. The deal was he needed to make sure we only LOST BY LESS THAN 4 GOALS combined to save is his job. Ironic that the guy he dropped (perez) is keeping him employed.

  • 35 GeordieTwo // Mar 5, 2016 at 6:18 PM

Stop asking sensible questions maikelw! Our club won’t stand for that! If you can’t kiss serious butt you aren’t allowed to ask questions. Steve is doing a wonderful job. As is Lee. Just ask them! Harrumph.

  • 36 stripes1009 // Mar 5, 2016 at 6:18 PM

Whilst we are holding inquests, can someone please explain why the ex-captain of Ajax, yes a top, top team, cannot get a game with that load of amateurs. He would walk into any of the top teams throughout Europe!!!!!

  • 37 Munster Mag // Mar 5, 2016 at 6:21 PM

Stripes, he would in his arse get into top european teams. He can hardly run.

  • 38 GeordieTwo // Mar 5, 2016 at 6:22 PM

First job as new manager. Walk in on McLaren, pee in his back pocket and have him dragged out by security. Then up to Lee’s office. Grab him by his chubby little cheeks, give him a whip round the office then down the hallway to the elevator and out in a pile of dust with McLaren.

  • 39 martoon // Mar 5, 2016 at 6:26 PM

If I was Ashley I would step in and sack Charnley & McClaren. Then I would bring in one of his top men from SD to run the club and get a new head coach/manager – Nigel Pearson would be my choice.

  • 40 stripes1009 // Mar 5, 2016 at 6:56 PM

Munster Mag, good players get other players to do their running for them by having great positional sense……I don’t see Michael Carrick do much running at Manure, yet he orchestrates practically everything that goes through their midfield!….when he plays ?

  • 41 ozzietoon // Mar 5, 2016 at 7:52 PM

Why is he Not sacked yet?
