News today from Sky Sports that Steve McClaren will finally meet with Lee Charnley today.
That needs to happen and this circus, which is now in it´s 5th day needs to come to a close quickly.
Hopefully Newcastle will sign Rafa Benitez today and sack Steve McClaren.
Steve is a good guy and this treatment of him by Lee Charnley shows just how incompetent the Newcastle Managing Director is.
It´s shameful.

Comment #4I think it’s fair to say that Charnley has handled this situation with the degree of professional and insight we have come to expect from him.

Chumley: “Hasta la Vista baby”
Perhaps they could leave together on a tandem – seems appropriate and then the chauffeur could have plenty of time for his morning bacon butty

Comment #7I wouldn’t mind him staying in some capacity at all, just not as first team manager.

Comment #10Maclaren needs throwing out with the dishwater…a washed up knacker if ever there was one and one who should never be allowed through the gates ever again.

Comment #11As much as he has been a complete failure at the club, and he did attempt a revamp, that unfortunately did not work out, the way he has been treated since Saturday has been scandalous.

Comment #12Don’t get too excited, Charnley probably only wants to see Steve’s La Manga holiday snaps

Comment #16I haven’t posted on here for ages but the current situation has so disgusted me the people running our club are a disgrace they should be sacked as well and replaced with people who know what they are doing. Also Ashley has to sell up. Their treatment of McLaren is nothing short of scandalous he isn’t the right man for us (never was) but he deserves to be treated better than he is.

Comment #20fcuk off…if the man had any humility at all he would have resigned for being the worst manager ever in the history of nufc …everything he touched turned to sh!t and no doubt he’s been given every opportunity to resign but being a greedy get he just wants the money.
throw the cnut out on his arse…he’s been useless and deserves nothing but a year of bad press and hopefully he’ll never work again so he’ll more time to shag around. No one loves maclaren more than he does
