McClaren To Finally Meet With Charnley Today

10:18 am, Thursday, March 10th, 2016 by Dr. Ed Harrison · 22 Comments

News today from Sky Sports that Steve McClaren will finally meet with Lee Charnley today.

That needs to happen and this circus, which is now in it´s 5th day needs to come to a close quickly.

Hopefully Newcastle will sign Rafa Benitez today and sack Steve McClaren.

Steve is a good guy and this treatment of him by Lee Charnley shows just how incompetent the Newcastle Managing Director is.

It´s shameful.

I think it’s fair to say that Charnley has handled this situation with the degree of professional and insight we have come to expect from him.

    Steve ” any biscuits” ?
    Chumley: “Hasta la Vista baby”

Perhaps they could leave together on a tandem – seems appropriate and then the chauffeur could have plenty of time for his morning bacon butty

    @4 “professionalism”

  • 7 Laurent Robert 32 // Mar 10, 2016 at 10:29 AM

I wouldn’t mind him staying in some capacity at all, just not as first team manager.

Poor Steve . . .so how many millions of £s would you like to stop managing the club?

  • 9 Lee Charnley Bunga Party // Mar 10, 2016 at 10:31 AM

This has built up too much it was like in the summer when everyone was buzzing about Viera and then we ended up with Mclaren …….

  • 10 sparky55 // Mar 10, 2016 at 10:32 AM

Maclaren needs throwing out with the dishwater…a washed up knacker if ever there was one and one who should never be allowed through the gates ever again.

As much as he has been a complete failure at the club, and he did attempt a revamp, that unfortunately did not work out, the way he has been treated since Saturday has been scandalous.

Don’t get too excited, Charnley probably only wants to see Steve’s La Manga holiday snaps

Rafa the Gaffa….still a fat Spanish waiter though

I haven’t posted on here for ages but the current situation has so disgusted me the people running our club are a disgrace they should be sacked as well and replaced with people who know what they are doing. Also Ashley has to sell up. Their treatment of McLaren is nothing short of scandalous he isn’t the right man for us (never was) but he deserves to be treated better than he is.

If rafa’s to meet Charmless today, that’ll be that – he won’t want to come!

  • 18 marshy // Mar 10, 2016 at 10:40 AM

don’t think it’s going to happen, classic fatash behaviour, delay, delay, delay and then say they couldn.t agree terms

  • 19 Laurent Robert 32 // Mar 10, 2016 at 10:42 AM

With Cathro’s link to Valencia, I wonder if Benitez may retain him?

  • 20 sparky55 // Mar 10, 2016 at 10:43 AM

fcuk off…if the man had any humility at all he would have resigned for being the worst manager ever in the history of nufc …everything he touched turned to sh!t and no doubt he’s been given every opportunity to resign but being a greedy get he just wants the money.

throw the cnut out on his arse…he’s been useless and deserves nothing but a year of bad press and hopefully he’ll never work again so he’ll more time to shag around. No one loves maclaren more than he does

A trophy laden managerial career for Rafa, until he tips up at Newcastle United.

  • 22 richyg01 // Mar 10, 2016 at 10:46 AM

Rafa wants assurances that he has FULL control of Transfers, meaning no job for Carr.

Charnley, will never got rid of his mate.
