Stopped the rot but the result helps neither side. Fair result in the end but @NorwichCityFC are the big winners this weekend. #nufcvsafc

The following policies should be taken into consideration before commenting:
An update on my health situation - we have terminated the PluVicto treatment halfway through, because of the severity of the side effects - diarrhea, vomiting, and acid reflux.
And there was no evidence the treatment was having any positive effect in stopping the prostate cancer from spreading in the bones.
There are no treatments left for me to go on.I will go into home hospice care now and will have a hospice nurse visit me at home regularly to ensure I am as comfortable as possible and we will treat the side effects of the treatments I have had.
It's down the final stretch now, and I have run out of treatments, and nature will now take its course.
I hope Newcastle can get many wins this season from now on, and I am at peace with all of this.
Thanks for all your help through the years - it's very much appreciated

If we’re not already considering relegation certainties we look certainties without victory at norwich
Norwich V newcastle
Palace V Norwich
Norwich V sunderland
Norwich V Newcastle
southampton V newcastle
Newcastle V swansea
Assuming we go with results as paper would see them a defeat to norwich and we’ll 9 points behind +a poor GD
A win against norwich and we’ll be 3 points behind but will go into the final run with 2 easy 3 pointers whilst norwich have extremely hard final run in.

Comment #3“Ancient since you like stars find out who created the most dangerous chances for us and how dribbled the most successfully and how had more shots on target. I would bet Townsend ahead of most if not all.”
Sissoko made 6 dribbles
Townsend made 2 dribbles
Townsend was dispossessed 4 times
Sissoko was dispossessed 3 times (on the pitch longer too)
Sissoko had 2 shots
Townsend had 2 shots
Sissoko won 4 aerials
Townsend won 0 aerials
Oh dear.

that was after a week with rafa with again!! a brand new back four which we havent had a consistent one all season
and it showed in their goal but we certainly looked more organised
CM looks a big problem we need shelvey without the burden of defending so much
i.e we need an in form tiote next to him

Comment #7Sissoko was not particularly comfortable on the left
but he did a decent job
Townsend is a good player but
Given the choice between sissoko and townsend on the right i’d take sissoko every time
I wonder if Rafa can find a way to play both at the same time without forcing sissoko to an uncomfortable left wing position

Comment #8We are just missing that bit of quality in front of goal. Before we even kick off in any game I just wonder where they’ll come from. Great goal by Mitrovic but he definitely needs time, he should be good in the championship next season.

Comment #9Lol do you remember sissokho 2 shots the 1st one is not even a shot and the 2nd is a crazy volley. just watch the game again and tell me which one creates a dangerous chance more and it’s Townsend time after time

I think Colback should partner Shelvey in CM. (Cue: howls of derision from the anti Colback posse) He should have from the moment Shelvey arrived in my opinion, but we have been trying to cover LB last few games. Out of everyone we have match fit and available those 2 have complimented each other the best in the centre.

Comment #11sisko has an unbelievably shite first touch
the fact we havent had a proper left winger since duff says it all
and that is why carr and charnley has to go

Comment #12Townsend showed more skill than sissoko what ever tackles were won, Townsend has far more awareness of what’s going on around him and more tactical on the ball.
Sissoko has power but far too often it leads to nothing.

every single thing revolves around that norwich game A win and we’ll go level on points with a similar GD making the swansea villa and palace wins will be able to make up for a norwich victory against palace and scums.
If we lose then normwich will go 6 points ahead with better GD leaving us desperate for palace and sums to beat norwich or ourselves to strike lucky in the difficult games as well as get victory against swansea, palace and villa.

The scum were robbed! Thank goodness Mitrovic connected to the ONLY decent cross of the game. Comment #15I think we will play better away to Norwich as nerves with there today for all to see. The players looked like they were under pressure not to lose to Sunderland. It was a millstone around their feet.
I voted for Lascelles as my MOTM. He was very commanding especially in the air.
I didn’t think much of Colback. The occasion seemed too much for him. Gini was in and out of the match. He can be quite anonymous at times. Townsend looked dangerous. Perez tried hard. De Jong looks like he should start against Norwich. He links up well with all the other players. Mitrovic was himself and at last got into the box where he should spend more time.
Overall we didn’t deserve to win. A draw is a fair result but is no good to either team.
