The local media has been invited to training at the Benton training grounds today and Rafa certainly looks to have been impressive the way he runs the training.
Here are some tweets sent out by the Chronicle reporters Chris Waugh and Lee Ryder – all very positive – so we have some hope!
Rafa Benitez in training
Even Rafa gives himself the thumbs up

Intensity of training impressive. Even simple drills all players look focused. De Jong heavily involved. Tiote too #nufc

Comment #2Hopefully they will take all our frustrations out on Norwich and give them a proper Whooping!! Then again, maybe not!!
The players are more than capable of taking Norwich apart – but will we actually see all the Rafa efforts bear fruit? Here’s hoping!!

Comment #4Bizarrely, we said mcclarens sessions were better too and we know how poorly that worked out! Still in rafa we trust. But please dont keep playing sissoko on the left wing…

Comment #5Sissoko should be dropped. Simples. He is a baffoon with no footballing brain just muscle. We need more than that on the pitch.

Comment #6Ian Toon – you had an opportunity to chastise your man Jib for his inult of another poster – yet you chose not to remark on his abuse. You did however choose to have a pop a me for highlighting the issue.
If reveals very nicely that rather than rebuke bad behavious you (and others) would chose not to but instead rebuke to messenger -to further the settling of old and long forgotten scores.
Hypocrisy if ever I saw it – in it’s most strident and rampant form.
Choosing to ignore bad behaviour from their “allies” rather than condem bad behaviour from their mates. Sickening and cowardly behaviour – yellow bellies!
