Aleksandar Mitrovic returned from International duty this week and he will be ready to lead the line tomorrow at Carrow Road, as we try to get only our 7th win of the season at Norwich City – a side who are 3 points above us in the league table.
Oh boss – let me go back on – it was only a kick in the head
There’s nothing in there to damage – honest
🙂
This is what Mitrovic has said on nufcTV talking first about the concussion he has against Sunderland and then talking about new manager Rafa Benitez:
“Yes I’m fine. It was just a kick, I was out for a few seconds but it was OK – I’m ready for another game.”
“I think he has been good for the team.” “He has worked at big clubs, he has experience.” “He knows how to fight for the title and how to win important games.”
“We don’t fight for the title, but we have similar pressures and he knows how to help with that.” “I expect a difficult game – the first half here was difficult and they are a hard team to play against.”
“They fight and play like a team, the chances are 50/50.”
Before he went away on International duty Mitrovic was being coached by Allan Russell, a renowned Scottish striker coach brought in by Benitez – so we will see what effect that has tomorrow.

Comment #1Mitro doesn’t score enough on International duty and that is a worry. He doesn’t seem to be the prolific striker we all craved and needed.

Comment #2He has many good qualities though but he is not a natural goal scorer and Cisse looks super fast compared to him.
