Sky Sports Pundit Predicts Disaster For Newcastle

Paul Merson has criticized Newcastle fans more than once this season and he predicts tomorrow that after the game with Norwich we will be in big trouble and lose the game 2-1 – we’ll see if he’s right on that one.

Newcastle must give it all they’ve got tomorrow and even if we lose this game, although things will certainly look bleak, there would still be seven games to play and 21 points to play for, it would be defeatist to say it’s all over.

Certainly Rafa Benitez will not be giving up in that event.

Paul Merson – Sky Sports pundit – Newcastle will be in real trouble

This is what Merson said about the game tomorrow:

“A massive game for both sides,” “Newcastle were quite lucky against Sunderland in their last game. They finished well in the final 10 minutes but Sunderland let them back into it.

“Norwich had a good result at West Brom and I think they can win this and leave Newcastle in real trouble,”

Prediction:  Norwich 2 Newcastle 1

We have to remember what Leicester did last year at this time when they won seven of their final nine games – and they didn’t have a world-class manager in charge, who had improved newcatsle in their first two games.

Rafa Benitez went out of his way during the press conference today to say he will prepare Newcastle for every single game remaining this season, with the target being to pick up all 3 points in every game.

We’ll just have to wait and see what happens tomorrow, but we are hoping we can get our first win in six games and only our third win on the road this season.

We need the win and three in five fans think we can get the 3 points.

Toon kk & pundits – If McClaren was still in charge then everything you say would be correct. BUT we now have Rafa who can bring out the full potential of the squad and is a master tactician – I think we are going to surprise people.

I always fear when the manager says “we have had a really good week at practive” I think NUFC will get pounhded 4-0 or so. I’d like the relegation to happen soon, so I can enjoy the rest of the season.

Trouble with Merson is he hates Newcastle. Prob had some bad coke off a local dealer or lost a fortune in the casino and feels he needs to take it out on the football team.
I’ve given up on wanting the right results if it happens great if it don’t were in the championship again (embarrassing) hopefully get straight back up but three quarters of our current squad won’t have the bottle for it and will be away.
