The following policies should be taken into consideration before commenting:
An update on my health situation - we have terminated the PluVicto treatment halfway through, because of the severity of the side effects - diarrhea, vomiting, and acid reflux.
And there was no evidence the treatment was having any positive effect in stopping the prostate cancer from spreading in the bones.
There are no treatments left for me to go on.I will go into home hospice care now and will have a hospice nurse visit me at home regularly to ensure I am as comfortable as possible and we will treat the side effects of the treatments I have had.
It's down the final stretch now, and I have run out of treatments, and nature will now take its course.
I hope Newcastle can get many wins this season from now on, and I am at peace with all of this.
Thanks for all your help through the years - it's very much appreciated

Comment #2The panic will have fully set in with Mike now. He knows the jig is up. Charnley will have to go just to save face. Hopefully the same for Carr but we had better have able replacements in mind because it won’t be easy with far less money. This disaster has brewed for at least 3 seasons with no rhyme or reason coming from the board. What kind of man is Moncur? I didn’t realize he was as clueless as Charnely but he has had no positive impact that I can see. The entire club structure is a shambles.

No rhyme or reason, baffling pal. However much of a clown Mclaren was he must have been telling them we needed a LB and CB at the very least. There is absolutely no feasible reason why they weren’t bought, I’m being serious here but I think a criminal investigation is due on Carr, well the whole bloody lot of them.

Comment #8I honestly don’t no where to start. No attack, no midfield and no defence just about sums it up. Top that off with no excuses and that’s about it.
Shelvey was his usual self pointing and waiving his arms with his contribution being a few passes most not brilliant and at one point I thought he may break out in a sweat, however I must have been mistaken as it must have been one of the rain showers. Captain material – Give e a break it’s like Carver being the manager not a chance in winning in this decade or the next.
No holding midfielders, we couldn’t string 2 passes together without giving the ball away and the closing down was abysmal.
Defence wise, ok we’re playing with a ramshackle defence at best however without any protection in the middle of the park they were exposed time and time again and 3-1 could have been 4 or 5.
The only player who deserved to wear his shirt was Townsend although he’s probably wondering what on earth he moved for – not to worry at least we may get our money back on him unlike the others who we’ll no doubt make a loss on.
As for the board in any other industry they would be sacked. It is possibly the worst case of mismanagement I have ever seen in any industry or business. Totally inept and out of their depth.
I thought we would have learned from the last relegation but this time it will really hurt as the 80+ Million invested and the loss of the £135M may give Ashley the kick up the backside he needs. If he lands on the moon, after said kick up the backside it still wouldn’t be far enough away to escape the cries of anger from the Newcastle fans who’s club he has ruined.
He should hang his head in shame for what he and the board have done with the club as there’s no going back and no excuses for what he and the board have done.

Comment #9I missed the game today, but reading between the lines we played to our usual standard.
Tbh our useless team doesn’t deserve the support it gets.
Disgrace.

Comment #10I was thinking back to martoon’s survey at the start of the season. Did anybody predict we’d be in the bottom three?

Comment #12I missed the game today. Chose to watch Huddersfield Town at the John Smiths. We’ll be gracing it next season. I don’t see anything to worry us in the Championship except ourselves if Chumpley and Carr are still in post.

Comment #13This has been a Carr crash of a season waiting to happen because Chumpley didn’t want to revisit his previous mistakes.

Comment #14Just heard a excellent interview with Lascalles who basically said the senior players are gutless and don’t want to be there. they are good players with creative flicks and he would not swop the players for Leicester players but have not got the guts mindset to play for each other

Comment #16We’re crap. Have been for ages. Couldn’t even watch the full match it was that atrocious and I still managed to watch the full match when we had Pardew and McClaren so that’s saying something.
Although I would have liked to see Rafa have longer so he could properly mould the team, he’s still been completely underwhelming for the time he’s been here. Playing the exact same system that’s failed for us for so long, still starting completely out of form players *cough* Sissoko, Wiji *cough cough* I have seen slight improvement in the structure of our team but that’s it. In Rafa’s defence it’s hard when the players don’t care. My main issue with Rafa is starting Taylor over Lascelles. He was playing the best and was immediately dropped when Mbemba/Taylor returned. Would much rather have Lascelles and Mbemba.
Shelvy has been crap these past few games. There’s a reason he’s not playing for a big club and that’s cause he’s incredibly inconsistent.
I rate Janmat but he’s given up on us. Used to come out with interviews all the time at first haven’t heard a peep from him in ages.
At least if we go down we might have some that actually give a toss.
