Surprise Result Predicted For Newcastle vs Swansea Game

6:38 pm, Thursday, April 14th, 2016 by Dr. Ed Harrison · 11 Comments

Paul Merson doesn’t seem to like Newcastle fans too much and he has had the cheek to blame the fans for some of the problems the team is in this season.

That’s a bit rich to say the least.

And usually Paul comes out and with some glee predicts a Newcastle defeat but there’s a sea change with Paul today.

Wait for it …..

Paul Merson – predicts a Newcastle win
What!!!!

Paul is actually predicting tat Newcastle will win on Saturday at home to Swansea and if he is right – let’s hope he is right – then that would be our first win in 70 days – 10 weeks – since we took West Brom apart 1-0 at home.

This is what Paul has said about the game on Saturday and after Newcastle he also talks about the early kick-off game at Norwich where Sunderland are the visitors where a home win could even see Norwich safe:

“If you have watched Newcastle recently, defensively they have been atrocious. However, I’m backing Newcastle to win.” “They have to put everything on the line on Saturday and for me, that will be enough.”

“Norwich have to make sure they don’t lose this game. As long as they don’t get beat Alex Neil will be happy, but if they win I think Newcastle are pretty much down. It’s as simple as that!

“For Sunderland it’s a cup final and they have to win it.” “I’m going for a draw here because Sunderland have been playing well recently.

“They’ve not had much luck in my opinion and that’s why the results haven’t quite gone their way.”

A draw between Norwich and Sunderland would suit us fine because if we can win the game against the Swans we will gain 2 points on both Sunderland and Norwich – what a shock that would be!

And yes – if Norwich win against Sunderland  it makes it that much more difficult for us to catch them when there will be only 5 games left and at best we will be 6 points behind Norwich – if we beat Swansea.

I hate to want the Scum to win, but it gives us our best chance of getting out of the bottom 3. I hope they win by own-goal and lost the rest of their games horribly.

    There, I feel better.

Will be interesting since they’ve got the early kickoff to see how it motivates our lads (or not).

The tribunal’s verdict said Charnley’s evidence:

“at times appeared to be evasive and lacking in credibility.”

“He appeared reluctant to agree that the claimant had played in the World Cup – saying that ‘he thought the claimant had played some part’ – and when asked how many other international players were in the squad as at September 2011 his response was that “he could not say”.

“Given that Mr Charnley (along with other members of the Board) was responsible for decisions as to the composition of the squad this seemed a rather surprising answer.”

Was Chumpley being evasive or is this further proof, if it were needed, that the bloke is clueless? A bloke who gets paid £150k a year based on the last set of accounts. Unbelievable. No wonder we are where we are with this knacker as the pilot.

Who said this is one of the best squads ever to be relegated? It’s shyte. The defence alone has been neglected and simply patched up for many years.

Gan on Jonas lad club should be (again) ashamed of themselves and fair play to Guti as Keegan before him shining a spotlight on their shady antics

In 15 years time when Ashley is a distant memory Jonas will still be a Geordie

Surely we want Sunderland to beat Norwich as we have to finish higher than both of them?

    Previous thread again.

Jonas often looked worse than he was because he was being fouled so often without any protection from the ref.

I don’t think he fell down often or even at all, not without good cause anyway.

Iam simply delighted jonas won his tribunal, he is a true gentleman, and a very loyal and decent person, unlike Ashely, and Charnley, they are just 2 scumbags and liers, i would not trust those 2 scumbags as far as i could throw them , not a bit of wonder our great club are only a pale shadow of the great club they were at one time, even seeing a picture of those 2 scumbags together with thier false smile on thier 2 fat and ugly faces makes my blood bloody boil.

Buenos noches el toon, just hope we keep rafa and get rid of all of the dead wood and leave rafa to build us next season out of the championship

    Another nail in Charnley’s coffin?

Crikey, the thing’s gonna have more nails in it than timber.

If he’s not sacked as MD, then Ashley clearly doesn’t give a monkey’s chuff about the Club
