Twitter Explodes As Newcastle Hold Reds For Great Point

Twitter exploded after Newcastle came storming back after being 2-0 down at half time at Anfield and we held out for those final anxious 10 minutes to get a very valuable point against another in-form side – this time Liverpool FC – Rafa’s former club.

Two overall points against Manchester City on Tuesday night and now at Liverpool could prove very valuable – but now we have to win games against Crystal Palace, Aston Villa and Tottenham.

Howay The Lads!!

Thought Twitter’s software engineers would’ve resolved the exploding bug by now.

Will be watching Thunlun keemly tomorrow. Anything other than an Arse win and I’ll be deflated again.

How long is it since we

    1) came back from 2 goals down away ?
    2) drew at Anfield ?

    Add going 3 unbeaten too.

In all probability it’s gonna be a last day nerve jangler again. If Spurs aren’t playing for anything I’ll fancy us.A lot of ifs and dependency on others teams before then.

Hope you’re right, could do with their GD taking a fair hit.

    Magpiesg,

People like yourselves are idiots. Saying dummet shouldn’t in the team? I mean we’re completely short and all you do is slate the lad. He’s done a fantastic job since he’s came into the team. As my pub coach used to say if ever in doubt, put it out. He doesn’t take any risky back passes does he?

You’re not a fan, fantastic result imo

Anyone else think the same as me or am I nuts?!

If the mackems lose tomorrow, they’ll be a bag of nerves with our current form. Two deserved points against quality teams on top of a 3-0 win means they know any mistake and they’re in it neck deep. Even tomorrow they now know a win is crucial. This is likely to go down to the wire. We can just keep the pressure on them like we are. Rather have palace and villa in the run up to the last game because we can win those. It might yet turn out to be too little to late, but until we’re down, I’ll keep believing. Saturday is going to be electric.

You ain’t mad ameobi. Who else can take his place? Mbabu needs games and we can’t risk it – as much as i rate the kid. Dummett is still a kid himself and doing a steady enough job.
