The Stars Are Lining Up – What About The Moon?

Spurs could only draw last night 2-2 at Stamford Bridge after being 2-0 up at half time and with just over 30 minutes to play, but they couldn´t hold on – and so they lost their chance to win the Premier League this season.

Leicester City are the Champions and it was even big news in the US last night on all the evening news broadcasts.

At 5,000/1 odds at the beginning of the season Leicester winning the Premier League were longer odds than Elvis Presley being found alive.

Rafa Benitez – Newcastle´s confident manager

The Spurs players lost their composure towards the end of the game and some were lucky not to receive a red card from Geordie referee Mark Clattenburg.

But that does have some consequences for Newcastle and means that Tottenham will not be coming to St. James’ Park on the final day of the season with any hope of winning the Premier League title and they will have nothing to play for – unlike Newcastle.

But that doesn´t mean Spurs wont be a very difficult test for the Magpies, as Crystal Palace proved to be on Saturday.

We still think that if Newcastle can win the last two games at Aston Villa and at home to Spurs – we should be safe from relegation.

So the stars seem to be lining up for Newcastle – but our lads must now deliver – starting with the all important game at Villa Park on Saturday.

There will probably be jibes coming from Sam Allardyce and the Sunderland players before that game, but they have to be ignored.

All that matters now is the Magpies finish off this terrible season on a high note with three consecutive wins.

Howay The Lads!!

I would rather play Mbabu then Janmaat at rb.

Look, Big Sam obviously knows more about this situation than me…
I am personally delighted that he is thrashing about like a drowning man. Put yourself in the position of the Rafa, the Newcastle players, the Scum players (God forbid!) even there sorry fans. Would you be happy with the crap he is coming out with in the media? Or would you be cringeing behind your sofa wishing he would just shut up?
It just makes him look like a desperate bloke.
The pressure is enough each game that passes. It looks like we are handling it better. Just need to get this game in hand of theirs out the way, then I truly believe they will crumble. Keep it going Rafa and the boys!
