Ayoze Perez has been linked with Barcelona, but it would be going to Spain and supporting their top three strikers Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar.
So if Ayoze did decide to leave Newcastle this summer he would probably see a lot of time on the bench – which is one reason he turned down both Real Madrid and Barcelona two years ago to join Newcastle.
While at Newcastle he has scored a decent 17 goals in 71 appearances for Newcastle.
Rafa Benitez talks to Ayoze Perez last Saturday
Ayoze could come back into the side at Villa Park on Saturday in place of Gini Wijnaldum, who has a bad habit of not turning up for away games.
And while Aston Villa are already relegated, in our second last game last season we also played an already relegated side in QPR.
And after going ahead 1-0 we still managed to lose that game 2-1 at Loftus Road, which was our 9th defeat in 10 games with the other result being a draw at West Brom.
We managed to win the last game at home 2-0 against West Ham and only just avoided relegation and it could be even closer this season – but we must win at Villa Park on Saturday.
This is what Ayoze has said in the Chronicle today:
“I remember last year when we played QPR. They were already relegated too and we didn’t win there. So we need to know that it’s a tough fight.”
“We must be ready when we go there. It can be really hard to win against teams who have nothing to lose but we are going to win.”
“It’s going to be a battle. We have to make sure that we are ready to fight.”
“It’s going to be tough. We have two more weeks and everybody here wants to stay up. We have to take advantage now.”
“We’re doing well but we must get more points.”
“It was a great feeling but we really needed it. It was a big chance for us and we took it.
“We’re still in the fight and outside of the relegation zone and we still have two games to win. It is a good feeling to be unbeaten.”
That was important for us but we must do the same in the last two games.” “It’s going to be hard to stay in the fight but we can do it.”
“We know the fans are always behind us. They are why we are still in this because they have helped us.”
“It’s really good to have them, it’s important and any team would want their support. We can’t ask anymore.”
“We can only say thanks to them and try to win the last two games.”
It´s going to be vital to win on Saturday and then we should have a chance to stay in the Premier League with a win in the final game against Tottenham a week on Sunday.
If we can do that it seems Rafa will stay at Newcastle, but otherwise we don´t know what will happen, with most “experts” saying Rafa will leave the club.
Four in five fans think we can win this game on Saturday.

On topic we MUST win if we want to stay in this league. It’s as simple as that.

Comment #3Not sure why folks get upset with the ethics of Wonga and pay day lenders.
Seems they are giving £200 million a year away to their customers.

The game will be stopped in the 2nd half due to crowd disruption and we will be awarded the points. The only downside to this wonderful dream i had last night was that Micky Burns scored a hatrick . sh’t.
