Benitez Exlodes The Myth About This Player – He’s So Energetic

Rafa Benitez has exploded the myth that Cheick Tiote is  bad egg at Newcastle and Rafa has talked today about how Cheick has boundless energy and he sees that in every single training session at Newcastle.

Tiote is also said to be a very good example for his team-mates – and Rafa Benitez has said he has to sometimes tone down the energy Cheick displays in training.

Cheick Tiote – energetic in training

This is what Rafa Benitez has said of Cheick Tiote:

“When I came he was injured.” “Then after one week he was training and, since then, every single training session has been impressive.”

“He’s been doing really well and he is very, very competitive.” “It’s what you see in the games; in the training sessions it’s exactly the same.”

“We try to calm him down because he trains so hard so it’s difficult to stop him,”

“It’s another positive. On Thursday we had to say to him: ‘Look, enough.’ “But really he’s a very good example.”

“He’s the kind of player you know you have to control a little bit, because he cannot be at this level in the whole season.”

“Now we have just two weeks now so it will be easier, but over a season he’s someone you have to keep an eye on,  because you don’t want him to lose energy.”

Cheick has been reigned in during the training – as Rafa says – so that he doesn’t expend too much of his energy and he some left for the games at the weekend.

So all this nonsense about Cheick Tiote being  a bad egg in the camp because he doesn’t try or whatever – is exactly that – pure nonsense – created in the national press.

Let’s hope Cheick has one of his best games for us tomorrow at Villa Park – we need nearly all our players to be focused and near their very best form so we can get the win and all 3 points.

Tiote has been reigned in to protect our own players from getting hurt!!!

Could the bad eggs, rotten apples have had their contracts terminated? By mutual consent….. or effectively sacked?

So this is the reason we been dropping like flies in training Tiote goes to hard for these softies on the squad…

Seriously always been a Tiote fan yea can be wreckless and sometimes hold the ball a bit much but has guts and steel about him and it’s no coincidence that we he is on form that people around him play better really think it would be hard to replace him if he was allowed to walk and believe he has a lot left in tank have never been worried about his conditioning..

I pity the fool that disrespects Mr.T

Can’t recall ever feeling that a team sits on such a razors edge as the Mags are right now. Win tomorrow and if the Makems fail to win then our fate will be in our own hands, with survival looking ever more likely, with a great manager to take the club forward next season! Lose and we are almost guaranteed to go down, possibly lose the best coach we’ve had in a long time, lose some of our best players and return from the Championship next year far from certain. Damn, rarely has so much ridden on a single game!!! HWTFL

If we win today and Sunderland lose, it’s NOT
    cut and dried.
Sunderland have two games to play next week – we have one.

Toonincheek – agreed but be great if they lose today then there’s a chance it might not go down to the last game. Although I think they’d get a draw versus Everton which unfortunately is where that late penalty could help them massively

What I said was if we win and Makems lose then we will have things in our own hands. Meaning if we then win against Spurs then we would have 39 points. If Sunderland loses tomorrow then even with a game in hand on us their max points would be 38.

That late penalty that the Makems were gifted by the official last week was painful! The defender barely touched Defoe. Terrible call!

This week, we will support Chelski and Man U; Watford and Everton twice next week. We support Newcastle and any team that plays against the mackems (and Norwich for now)!

Next 5 days will decide our fate. If we win at Villa and both Sunderland and Norwich lose their next 2 games – we will be in the PL next season.
I don’t want to endure another season where our fate is decided in the last game of the season. Regardless of whether Spurs have nothing to play for, I won’t fancy our chances if it comes to that

Yes, it seems the Defoe penalty was somewhat generous.

But – from what I have read – there was another penalty incident
where 5under1and DID (maybe) deserve a penalty.

Nothing can disguise the fact they were lucky to get ANYTHING from the game.

Being the optimistic type, i fancy a win today. 1-0 will do me because i think gd is probably out of our reach. We need to finish a point clear of the mackems and that’s well within the realms of possibility. No point worrying about what’s out of our hands, but I don’t agree with teams being ‘on the beach’. Ego’s are far too big amongst players to be happy losing and more to the point, there’s win bonuses and league position bonuses to play for. I fancy chelsea to beat sunlun by a bigger score than we beat villa if i’m honest. Chelsea are still a far better team than sunlun.

Stuart, that’s what i don’t understand marra. They train and play with monitors on. They have all the best medical equipment and teams, yet how do they miss a dodgy ticker? It’s sad when it happens to anyone, but even more so when it’s somebody fit and healthy with their whole lives ahead of them. Like ya say, it’s wrong.

    Morning chaps
I’m done with anxiety about our situation now. I think we have a very good chance of beating villa today, by a couple of goals. And the odds are in favour of Chelsea keeping up their interest and improved form so I think it’s more than likely a win for them at the stadium of plight. Which heaps huge pressure on their much vaunted game in hand in midweek. Turns into a poisoned chalice. No point, they’re down.
Just pray it turns out that way..

Talking about GD there needs to be a full inquest on who out of the four stooges made the footballing decision to buy poncy French midfielders over defenders. We know that Carr spotted them, who decided that we needed a LB right at the last minute and who said we didn’t need one in the weeks leading up to the January window.

Florian Thauvin whose loan to Marseilles expires this month got off to a bad start with the French club being whistled and jeered by Les Phocéens’ fanatical fans.
However some canny performances have won the fans over to such an extent that there is talk of Spurs putting a bid for him to NUFC this Summer !

I’ve always believed Rafa didn’t count the derby, or possibly even the norwich game as winners. He used those games to get the players performing how he wanted them to play. When you consider the crap he inhereted, there was never going to be a miraculous turnaround, it all had to be down to hard work. We started to see the difference in those games, but we’re now seeing a Rafa team and the difference is huge. I appreciate past results and how it would be typical Newcastle to blow it, but the difference now is Rafa and he won’t allow it. I trust him to do it simply because he’s a winner – and it’s been a long time since we had one of those at the helm. HTL!!!

Jib, i’m sure Rafa will want to run the rule over him in the pre season, before considering any offers for him. That said, unless he’s put on a yard of pace – or two – i can’t see him making it over hete, either for us or spurs! He just looked like he was running through treacle imo. 😉

This is a must win match, if we win and Sunderland and Norwich don´t, they will be in big trouble. I think we will win this, we have to stay compact and let them make mistakes, as they are prone to that…
