Today we have heard from Ayoze Perez, Tim Krul and Andros Townsend (via his father Troy) who have said they are willing to stay at Newcastle next season, when we are in the Championship and hopefully only down in the second division for one season – that’s the plan.
We expect Ayoze Perez for one, to be hoping his Spanish compatriot Rafa Benitez is still the Newcastle manager next season.
Andros Townsend – wants to stay on Tyneside next season
Rafa has already brought the very best out of Andros Townsend and he seems to have a great relationship with the world-class manager.
Tim hasn’t yet trained with Rafa, but he’s been at the club for 11 years now and it seems he has no intention of leaving.
And Tim Krul is still recovering from his ACL knee injury but he has also used his Twitter account to let everybody know he is still fully committed to Newcastle .
There’s going to be some competition for the goalkeeper jersey next season between Tim, Rob Elliot and Karl Darlow.
This is Ayoze’s tweet today.

And it looks like new by Andros Townsend who has been a huge hit on Tyneside in a short four months is also intending to stay.
That’s even though he could well be in the England squad of 23 for the Euro 2016 Championships next month – he was selected today in the initial squad of 26.
Andros’ dad Troy has told BBC Five Live today:
“Newcastle could rise quickly and Andros looks forward to many more seasons with them.”
It also looks like his dad is getting to be a big fan of Newcastle (and of his son of course) as he tweeted about Andros seemingly being subbed late in the game yesterday.
Still getting goosebumps from that standing ovation for the ‘wrong’ substitution and today’s news just adds to that pride!!

If we can keep and afford some of our top players to stay at the club next season – we will have a great chance of coming straight back up – and we will win a lot of games too.
Huge difference from this seoasn.
