Good News For Newcastle Fans On Benitez Move

Until the Rafa Benitez deal actually goes through,  Newcastle fans will continue to be anxious and nervous, since it’s our only hope for the future.

But there is news in the Northern Echo today the main reason the contract is taking so long – no Lee Charnley isn’t dithering again – it’s that the agreements have to go through Rafa’s lawyers, who are based in Spain.

Rafa Benitez – deal is happening

But Craig Hope of the Mail offers some hope to Newcastle fans today.

Surely the deal will be announced before this Friday?

It also appears that Rafa has been working through which players to keep and which to move out – and there was news last night that Kevin Mbabu will be offered a two year deal.

We could soon know which players will be released – once Rafa is announced.

There was also news yesterday that Rafa has been talking to a number of Championship managers to get an idea of what things are like in the Championship.

I think we’ll all believe it when Rafa confirms he’s staying!

Out with a mackem supporting mate last night who’s convinced Rafa isn’t signing, they’re shyting themselves in case he’s a success, they’re bigging up Fat Sam because he’ll bring mid table stability while we’re hiring a former world manager of the year.

It’s ok Jail, tell your mates they won’t have to play us for a long time unless we get them in a cup game, wel be getting promoted under Rafa and they will drop to the championship and wel wave at them through the submarine window taking our just visiting sign off the back as we go……They will more than likely struggle without their main source of goals (Defoe falling over for dodgy penalties and free kicks as well as his offside ones too) theyl not get their requisite 4-6 points from us and with any justice they’ll get as bad refereeing decisions going against them instead of for them this season.
