The Newcastle home shirt for next season was initially leaked on May 23rd – just a week after the Premier League ended.
Here’s a clearer picture of the shirt, which has gold trim and the neck and the sleeves.
Here’s the previous photo of the shirt that also has the Wonga insignia on it.

Comment #4Woy does something well, that I like to see from a manager. He learns from his SUCCESSFUL ideas, not just mistakes. If something works, he uses it again. It was my biggest complaint about Negadew. On the rare occasion he got something spot on, he still reverted to type in the following game.
Hodgeson is not a spectacular manager, but he is well worth his place at the moment imo. He stuck to the youngsters. Ok, maybe one or two should not be there, but i would suggest the rest are the correct choices. I saw him compared to Pardew in a negative way on here after the russia game, and it sent me over the edge. Such a stupid, spiteful thing to say. He is way better.

Comment #9Think the bit black collar spoils it personally. I’m a tight arse anyway so will wait till next season. Just bought last seasons for 15 squid!
45 quid for a shirt that’s not made to last is a rip off. The best shirts we had were the adidas granda style for quality and durability.

Comment #12That was a good match today, England deserved the win, difference between the two sides is that England have got strength in depth, where as we really our best is our first eleven, how sterling got in the squad and not Townsend only mcclaren the 2nd would know, no wonder he didn’t last long with Liverpool.

I think you’re being a tad unfair to woy. McClaren the 2nd? He is way better than that.
That aside, you’re right, it was a good game. I think a neutral fan would have loved it, without having to deal with the nerves.

Comment #20Well done Michael O’Neill. I remember going to Derby where a very skinny O’Neill got our goal in a 2-1 defeat. When would that have been? A bank holiday weekend I think.

So the bench that Hodgeson picked and used today, saved hodgesons arse? So he saved his own arse, with correct decisions. Isnt that what international managers do? You might not rate him, but bringing him down to mcclarens level is misguided at best.

Comment #39Howay Jail that suggestion will start a riot. The protestants know the words and the catholics don’t want to know the words. 🙂
It would probably be a good idea to have a neutral anthem but don’t say that out loud.
