Confusion Surrounds This Newcastle Winger

9:04 am, Thursday, July 14th, 2016 by Dr. Ed Harrison · 8 Comments

Newcastle have so far managed to move seven players out and bring in five new (senior) players this summer, but that includes Remy Cabella who we assume has moved to Marseille.

But there has been no official confirmation from either club of the completion of the permanent deal.

We have Remy Cabella down as having moved for around £7.5M and that became automatic once he had played 12 games for Marseille during his loan move last season.

Last season he played 42 times for Marseille with 6 goals and in the one unsuccessful season he had at Newcastle he played 34 times with one goal and two assists.

Remy Cabella – is he now a Marseille player?

The deal could only be completed once the transfer window officially opened on July 1st, but no word on the status of the player from the club – unless he was officially signed during January?

Cabella played in Marseille’s first friendly against Swiss Super League side Lausanne on Tuesday night, which the French club lost 2-1.

On Wikipedia and transfermkt.com web-sites he is down as a Marseille player who moved in 2016 from Newcastle United.

When will Newcastle announce the deal officially?

Here’s the transfer activity at Newcastle so far this summer with the transfer fees being our best estimates.

apparently sat is decision day for hanley,if he wants a move he should have a word or put in a transfer request…he’ll soon make up the money he’ll lose in signing on fee in wages.

wonder if thats what they want sissoko to do,put in a transfer request??

    Springy

Sissoko’s stated he wants away and in that situation he should submit a formal transfer request. Why on earth he feels he should receive a cut of a fee beats me.

The Club’s right to play hardball with him.

sissoko wont he’ll most likely just bitch on and play the sympathy card…then probs go on strike…not return when he should.

Can’t really put in a transfer request if there have been no bids
