In Honor And Remembrance Of Two Dedicated Fans

sweeney - alder

We take time out today to remember two dedicated Newcastle fans, John Alder and Liam Sweeney, who lost their lives supporting Newcastle United.

This is the second anniversary of their tragic deaths.

Their passenger jet was shot down over Ukraine on Thursday July 17th, 2014 by rebels, as they were traveling to support the team in New Zealand.

We will never forget them.

And our manager Rafa Benitez, who has a heart of gold, has put this on his web-site today to remember John and Liam.

Today, Sunday 17th July, my thoughts are with the families of our fans John Alder and Liam Sweeney, who lost their lives following the club that they loved in pre-season two years ago.

They are in the hearts of so many people at this club.

RIP John and Liam.

Hopefully NUFC can be brought to greatness again and you can watch from above.

Interesting insight into the U21s(?), were they playing the Darlington first team?

Demba Ba has suffered a horrendous leg break. Link attached. There’s a video too. The photo was enough for me. Slank’s snapped tendon? Pah.

I can watch videos like that to a certain agree, i mean i watched all of the human centipede films, saying they messed up films is an understatement, but i can’t watch any of the saw films.

I’ve seen a lot of nasty injuries on the pitch over the years, but that has got to one of the worse ones ever, even if he recovers from that and that’s if then he’s not going to be the same again, wouldn’t be surprised now if he retires.
