Newcastle Midfielder Could Be On His Way

25 year old Senegal International midfielder could leave Newcastle before this coming Sunday for Marseille and there is a report in the Marseille local newspaper La Provence are hoping to that can be accomplished before next Sunday when the French League kicks of its season.

Henri has had a tough time of it since he arrived from Bordeaux for £5M last January and has hardly been given a chance in the Newcastle first team since he arrived.

Certainly since Rafa Benitez arrived in mid-March to try to save the club from relegation, Saivet has not played one minute in the first team and he is not in Rafa Benitez’ plans for the future of Newcastle.

Henri has made only four appearance for Newcastle since last January and it is best for him to move on and try to get his career back on track in France.

He has been the victim to a large extent of changing managers at Newcastle, although even Steve McClaren did not play him much in the Newcastle first team after he arrived at the start of the year.

Henri has been  another poor acquisition by Chief Scout Graham Carr and company and he will have been at Newcastle a little more than six months.

Rafa Benitez is currently overhauling the Newcastle squad and 8 players have been brought in and 9 senior players have so far left the club.

Exactly what happened with this player? Could both McMuffin and Rafa see he was no use even though he hardly played for us? If so that’s shocking. Like Nacho Gonzalez. Another YouTube pickup Graham?

Why don’t they ask Carr to step down i.e. retire? He’s the right age to walk away. Let Rafa bring in a head scout. We’ve had a shocking number of failures over the last 5 years or so. I made a list that I posted on here of some of the complete flops we’ve had in over recent seasons. It just isn’t acceptable if we want to succeed.

How does this coincide with ‘needing a larger squad to deal with the larger number of games’?

Henri could not be any worse than Jack.

Results so far of the poll about Sissoko:

    1. Sell him, but only if the price is 30M or more 22%

    2. Keep him, give him a fine, put him to play with the reserves/academy. He disrespected the team and the club too much.

    3. Sell him, even if the price is lower than 30M but not less than 20M-25M

    4. I don’t care

    5. Sell him even if it is lower than 20M

    6. Keep him, but give him a fine for his disrespect for the fans and the club

    7. Keep him, we need him! He is one of our best players.

Not sure how these players can contribute absolutely nothing.
They come from a good standard of football in a top division.
Fulham had new players from all over the place. Some looked pacey and dangerous. They were having a go.
With him and Thauvin I don’t think they actually want to be here. It’s a pay day they can’t refuse, but they don’t really want to be here.

Actually, that’s like me with my work. It’s a pay day I can’t refuse, but I don’t really want to be there.
Thing is I don’t get 20K a week for kicking a ball about.
