Poll Results – What To Do With Moussa Sissoko

In our poll on what fans think Rafa should do with Moussa Sissoko this summer, only a small 8% want him to stay on at Newcastle, even after the shock defeat at Craven Cottage on Friday night.

Most fans want him sold if we can get £35M for him, but 29% want him to be transferred whatever the price.

It would be best if the Frenchman left for his dream club soon – we just don’t know which club that is.

We know it’s either Real Madrid, Arsenal, PSG, Manchester United or any other big club that comes along and tries to sign him.

But there is still a chance he could be a Newcastle player come September – if no club comes along with a big enough bid for him and from some his comments over the weekend he seems to understands that.

Comments welcome.

    I dont get why people want us to sell one of our best midfielders?!
    he was good last 5 games and will be vital to us this year.
    I’m confused…

    He isn’t faithful to the team. Disrespect the fans and the club. He wants to go and doesn’t want to play for us.

    Do you trust him to perform?

    Nut meg

    I wonder if that Hull owner has a brain. He seems very short sighted, especially if he is willing to let all his good players go. No wonder Bagpuss quit

    I agree we are short of creativity. Unlikely we could attract the likes of Cabaye back, but like you I am hoping Shelvey can produce for us. Hopefully Diame will give us something too.

    It must occur to you that Sissoko upped his game at the end of last season because he was putting himself in the shop window for a place in the Euros. And he raised his game their to put himself in the window for potential buyers.

    In other words, he has ZERO intention of so much as kicking a ball for us in the Champs. While he is here,he is just a money pit.

    Teamstoof;
    It’s because he doesn’t give a stuff. If he performed to the best of his ability throughout the season, we would not have been relegated. If he does not go we will have a petulant player who is not bothered about the club and he will spend the season trying to get a move.
    I wouldn’t put it passed him to try and reduce his transfer fee by playing well below his best which would ultimately lead him to being left out of the team.
