When Manchester United beat Bournemouth 3-1 at Bournemouth today the TV commentators mentioned their top winger Matt Richie had left the club to join Newcastle in the summer and Matt certainly seems like he is exactly that a top winger.
While he started on the bench yesterday he came on in the second half for Rolando Aarons against Huddersfield to put some life into the team and hopefully he will start on Wednesday night against Reading, as we try to get our first win and our first points of the season on the board.

Matt had another good game and his acquisition means we will not miss Andros Townsend too much this season.
Matt got 50% of the vote and second in the voting with 11% was Jonjo Shelvey who made a rare but welcome start for the side.
One his day Jonjo can be a very important player for us and he started the game well but faded a bit in the second half, but hopefully he is getting into some kind of form.
His creativity and drive is what we really need at the moment.
Third in the vote was Chancel Mbemba who also returned to the starting line-up in place of Grant Hanley and Chancel had another good game and showed he is a good positional player and good with the ball at his feet.
The in-form center-backs at the moment seem to be Grant Hanley and Chancel, so it will be interesting to see if Rafa rests his captain Jamaal Lascelles on Wednesday night with there being a game at Bristol City coming up on Saturday afternoon.
It wasn’t a good performance by Newcastle on Saturday, but at least we were much improved in the second half so hopefully we can start the game against Reading and be a lot better in those first 45 minutes.
