The news has come through that Haris Vuckic will go on loan to Bradford City initially though early January and then a decision will be made on him by Rafa Benitez at that time about whether he completes the season at Bradford.
Haris is in the final year of his contract at Newcastle and after having such a bright future when he joined the club as a 16 year-old in January, 2009, the Slovenian International has failed to make it on Tyneside.
It’s good he will get some first team games in Yorkshire this season.
Haris Vuckic – on loan to Bradford City
Haris is the 19th player to leave the club permanently or on loan this summer in Rafa Benitez’ first transfer window.
This is what Newcastle put out a short time ago.
Haris Vuckic has joined Bradford City on loan until January.
The 24-year-old Slovenian, who joined Newcastle in 2009, helped Wigan win the League One title last season and will now hope to be involved in another promotion from the same division with the Bantams.
Their manager is Stuart McCall, who was in charge at Rangers when Vuckic had a successful loan spell at Ibrox in 2015.
As well as the Gers and Wigan, Vuckic has also spent time on loan with Rotherham and Cardiff. He’s made a total of 18 appearances for Newcastle, scoring one goal, but hasn’t played a senior
competitive game for the Magpies since a 1-0 FA Cup third round defeat at Leicester in January 2015.However, he scored twice for United’s U-23s in their opening Premier League 2 Division Two match of the season against Norwich.
Here’s the current transfer table.

Comment #3Won’t believe Sissoko is gone until I see him in an Everton shirt. Is anyone any good with Photoshop? I’d love to see that photo above with his miserable pet lip on, but in a Toffees strip. Think he’ll be smiling in the real photo when it’s finally released?

Comment #4Ellaguru – wasn’t Atsu announced earlier? I’m sure I saw a pic of him signing his contract inside SJP. Could be wrong though…

Comment #6I’m still dancing around on the sidelines here peering in through the curtains. Moussa is sulking and shaking his head in one corner. Charnley is crying and looking extremely pitiful beside him. Can’t see the Everton group……..

Comment #7Okay, let’s hope Sissoko doesn’t ruin it with contract demands now. I honestly didn’t believe Everton would cough up 30m but that’s a great fee for us!
As a side note, Leicester sign Slimani – they will be having quite an attack now! Some impressive spending, too, will put pressure on them this season.

Comment #14The Atsu deal was reported as done with the official announcement to arrive today.
However there hasn’t been any official announcement yet. No idea why Newcastle would be sitting on it this late. Hopefully there aren’t any last-minute details still to be resolved!

Comment #15If this sickoko deal doesn’t happen then he might as well kiss good bye to CL for ever. Me and I assume most other toon fans will not want him to play a single minute this season and make him lucky to even get mid PL team interest. He could go to palace and enjoy a Championship season with them.

That’s what I mean. We saw a bunch of pics from his agent’s twitter account suggesting that it was all done. But as we all know, dont trust anything until it is announced officially on the NUFC website!!

I have moved on, presuming this deal, or something a bit better, will be done tonight.
Three things on the agenda now, only one an incoming.
1) Can we shift Tiote. We’d rather yes than no.
2) Can we pull off a late coup with £12m of the Sissoko cash. We didn’t expect to get that.
3) Waiting with open ears for a nuts offer on Mbemba. We’d take ten.

As I said earlier, I hope it’s not those stupid £6m installments and we’ll eventually receive the £30m in a couple of years time.
I’m hoping it’s £25m rising to £30m in addons with the bulk paid upfront.
Getting him on the never never would be a joke considering the dosh swirling around prem clubs at the moment.

If he has an outstanding season with Everton someone then might be prepared to pay 50M for him, if not I think he can kiss goodbye to CL football anyway as I can’t see Everton getting there any time soon.

Comment #22To be honest if this Everton deal doesn’t go through (so much that can still go wrong!), I don’t think it would be in our interest to bury Sissoko in the reserves. He is an asset as much as he is an ass and we would be shooting ourselves in the foot financially if we deliberately make his value plummet.
Remember that nobody will be paying you over the odds for a player you have made clear you don’t need or want anymore.
Why do you think Rafa made all those statements about Moussa? They put us in a stronger position for negotiations.

Keep the £30m for our return to the premiership. Plus £30m when the loan deals kick in.

Comment #26With freshly oiled hinges the SJP side door swings open and shut silently as another waste of bench space is ushered into the darkness to press his case on other soil. Meanwhile, everyone in the boardroom are in party mood, the fizzy liquid clouding the fact they’ve also bought someone and forgot to announce it…

1) Can we shift Tiote.
Doubtful at this stage but we’ll see. That was why I was so pissed with Galatasaray and their medical mumbo-jumbo excuses, it didn’t do us or Tiote any favors.
2) Can we pull off a late coup with £12m of the Sissoko cash. We didn’t expect to get that.
I would be surprised if Rafa didn’t plan in case we did sell Sissoko. If he wants to go for another player we will. It costs you nothing to discuss possible action in case Moussa leaves, no good reason not to. However I think it is too late to start knocking on any doors at this point.
3) Waiting with open ears for a nuts offer on Mbemba. We’d take ten.
God I hope you are kidding! No offers for Mbemba, please!
