Moussa Sissoko Will Sign For Spurs For £30M

After Spurs matched Everton’s £30M offer to Newcastle for Moussa Sissoko it  looks like Everton have pulled out of the running, so the way is open for Moussa to sign for Tottenham.

If it got to be a choice between Tottenham and Everton we knew Moussa would choose Sours, because they are a Champions League club.

So as long as Spurs can get the deal done in the next 30 minutes then Moussa should become a Spurs player and Newcastle get a whopping £30M.

If the deal is done in time then Newcastle come out of this and the summer transfer window in general looking golden.

We will have signed Christian Atsu on loan from Chelsea – still to be announced tonight – and signed 12 players in all and made a profit of £31M.

Not too bad – if Tottenham can get the deal done in time.

Comments welcome.

Made a healthy profit on Sissoko and Widjnaldum. We’ll need it, but you can’t argue with the quality of those two pieces of business, nor the amazing reshaping of the squad. The season starts in earnest for us now, and I expect us to go from strength to strength as the campaign progresses.

Remember when we got nobody “over the line” . . . .

Raffa just does it, may not all be the best signings – but you can see clear signs of intelligence at work, he is not messing about.

Daniel Levy agreed to 30M?! Proof that the transfer market HAS gone insane. Still won’t believe it until I see him in another strip.

All that contact he was meant to be doing with everton was probably being used in a discussion with spurs. Today was his last chance to get a move to a CL club. He would have loved a big CL club where wages will be massive but they didn’t bother showing interest so it had to be spurs and he used everton to keep the media distracted. (I assume)

The club was delighted with the Everton deal.
Now they are bricking it that Spurs will fanny about over Sissoko’s terms.
    Not a welcome development.
