Photo – Christian Atsu Signing For Newcastle

Here’s a photo that’s doing the rounds at the moment – Christian Atsu signing on for Newcastle United in the Boardroom.

What’s holding up the announcement?

Oh yes – getting £30M for Moussa Sissoko – I almost forgot – there’s only a given number of things Lee Charnley can do at once.

I like the way they have composed the picture to include the network cable and the fire extinguisher. Classy.

N’dong is decent! He’s not worth 17m decent mind… and I’m pretty sure he’s going to be at the African nations. Hes got a lot of energy, very Kante esque but probably slightly stronger but less stamina. He won’t score many or assist many and they’ve probably over paid by a good 8-10m but he is a decent player

They didn’t like his other t-shirt, the one with a row of headless bodies hanging from a motorway bridge.

I hope if Sissoko does stay that he doesn’t assume he will be able to worm his way back into favour with the fans. He’d be an idiot to think that.

West Bromwich Albion and Newcastle United have finally come to an agreement over the loan transfer of Callum McManaman. The Baggies winger looks set to join ?Championship side Newcastle on loan for the rest of the season.

McManaman had been linked with Newcastle for the majority of the summer and it was believed he could be used in a deal to bring Sissoko the other way. With the deal for McManaman being a loan deal, it looks very unlikely that West Brom will now go in for the French International Sissoko. Former FA Cup winner McManaman found himself on the fringes at West Brom last season only making 12 appearances for the club in all competitions after joining from Wigan 18 months ago.

McManaman would be Albion’s second outgoing loan of the day after Sebastien Pocognoli joined Championship side Brighton.

Haidara won’t be fit enough to play at the same time as him anyway. Even in training. They’ll probably never meet.

Will you still blame Rafa for Sissoko if he stays and plays out of his skin and we gain promotion.

I think Sissoko is going to be still a Newcastle player tomorrow, he will not be happy, but maybe a reality check is what he needs.

Still; with Sulkie in our reserves we may win one of those games under Beardo, then again!
