Tottenham Make Improved Offer For Sissoko

News coming in after Spurs made a derisory offer for Moussa Sissoko yesterday that they are going to increase their bid, but it’s not thought to be anywhere close to the £35M Newcastle want for the French International.

In fact it’s thought it will be somewhere near £20M and if that’s the case Newcastle will turn it down.

Moussa Sissoko – Tottenham have made second bid

One report in the Mirror is that it’s half the £35M we want, so that will be immediately turned down as the club are not desperate to sell and we don’t need the money, having made a profit so far in this summer transfer window.

Moussa is currently on International duty with France for their upcoming games for qualification for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Tottenham Chairman Daniel Levy is doing his usual thing – bidding very low for players he wants as he at the same time asks ridiculously high prices for the Tottenham players.

The shoe seems to be on the other foot with Newcastle and Sissoko.

Apparently Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez has traveled very early this morning to Nyon in Switzerland for a coach’s conference, but will remain in close contact with Lee Charnley throughout the day.

Lee is still the guy doing all the deals at Newcastle, which he’s done for a number of years now.

We would be surprised if Moussa Sissoko leaves Newcastle today.

What do you think?

I honestly think Charnley has done a cracking job this summer it just goes to show that all the lad needed was proper instruction from Rafa rather than him , Carr and Ashley coming up with their own ideas !!

“First transfer deal of the day complete for Newcastle.
    Riviere has departed for Osasuna.
The deal is a season-long loan.”

One to watch. Tottenham are prepared to pay in excess of £20m for #NUFC Moussa Sissoko but still short of 35m asking price

The reality is with so few genuine offers coming in for Sissoko he has two options today:
    1. Put in an official transfer request and accept he won’t get his loyalty bonus.
    2. Give a statement saying he respects Rafa’s position and he is now ready to help Newcastle get back where they belong in the Premiership.
Because he is spineless I expect neither of these to happen and, unless someone really is desperate, he will say here, sulk and then look like an idiot when he has to come crawling to Rafa asking for a chance to put himself in the shop window again.

Let’s be honest, if Sissoko ends up at a team like WBA or anyone outside say the Europa League places in the Prem he’s going to have a lot of Toon fans laughing at him on social medias asking him how long he’s been dreaming of playing for WBA! Almost worth it for that alone.

Morning guy’s. Do we think we will have any more incomings today ??

Or do you think our transfer business is done.

How do Spurs think they can get Sissoko for 16 mill when Villa have just paid 15 mill for that lad from Bristol

Id take 20 million all day long. He’s hardly gonna tear the Championship up is he. Sell now or get even less in January.

Snap the hand off anybody daft enough to offer £20m. Quick, before they realise what a work-shy pup they’ve just been sold.
