Tottenham Have Now Matched Everton’s £30M Bid For Sissoko

Well would you believe it but Lee Ryder and Pete Graves of Sky Sports were right as Tottenham are not out of the race for Moussa Sissoko yet, and Sky Sports is reporting that Spurs have matched Everton’s bid of £30M.

We should have kept to the original £35M.

🙂

There’s now less than an hour left of the summer transfer window so one of the clubs had better sign Moussa, and he would probably choose Spurs because they are in the Champions League.

Moussa Sissoko – Spurs have matched the Everton bid

Not sure how Spurs would get a medical done in time to sign Moussa Sissoko – things have been left so late.

There is no bidding war – both bids accepted. Sissoko will be getting offered more money but that’s your lot.

30 million has already been agreed with Everton, spurs have matched the offer. No bidding war. For 30 million I’d snap the hand off both offers, & tell sissoko take your choice.

They’ve got under an hour to agree terms and have him medicalled. Could Sperz do it? Will we see Levy beaten at his own game?

And given that Arsenal was Sissoko’s boyhood dream club, I wonder what sort of reception he’d get at White Hart Lane when he shows his true colours.

An eenteresting window and it just shows what a difference a decent football man can make to running the club.

And, well done to Charnley who’ll be glad to be able to relax for a little while.

I’m surprised we got 2 clubs to bid 30 for him.

Not surprising both of them are Premier League clubs though.

Haha, Sissoko has been properly unprofessional to Everton. Agreed terms and then just went off the radar ignoring their calls and then said he doesn’t want to join. They learnt before it was too late what an absolute scrote he is!

I think we can hang on for a winger. In rafas system, the wide players are more AM left and right rather than wingers, and the likes of goofy, perez, ritchie, atsu and even gayle can all play in that role.

Sky sports saying sicko himself never had much contact with everton at all. either he knew spurs were planning a last minute deal or he should consider himself lucky to get this last minute tranfer bid.

Anybody else thinking about how Nice are building somewhat of a reputation of resurrecting players from the dead? They pulled it off with Bennie but if they do the same with Balotelli it will be phenomenal!
