Here’s A Dire Warning For Newcastle Tomorrow

In our poll for the game tomorrow almost 9 out of 10 Newcastle fans expect us to win this game, but Sky Sports pundit Ian Holloway doesn’t agree and he doesn’t even think the game will be a draw – he predicts a 1-0 win for the visitors.

If that happens it will be our third defeat at home this season and out fourth defeat in the Championship  – the total number of times we lost in all of the 2009-2010 season when Chris Hughton was the manager.

Ian Holloway – predicts 1-0 win for Brentford

In his predictions for all the Championship games this weekend this is what Ian has said about our game:

“I’ve got to admit, I jumped to conclusions at the start of the season when Brentford couldn’t keep hold of their good players like Jake Bidwell.”

“I couldn’t have been more wrong with my prediction. Dean Smith and the squad are proving me wrong.”

“Good on them.”

“Newcastle look like a team that are enjoying the challenge the Championship brings. The rest of the division needs to watch out as this team could go on a huge winning run at any stage of the season.”

“However, Brentford look confident and Newcastle’s home form has been a bit up and down. They lost to both Wolves and Huddersfield at St James’ Park.”

“Brentford have only shipped nine goals this season, which makes me think they may have enough to stifle Rafa Benitez’s men.”

“This is my shock of the weekend. Scott Hogan to net the winner.”

As we said Newcastle fans do not agree with Ian.
