    Jib,

Three good goals, I’ll settle for one and a clean sheet at Barnsley.

Nothing to add to Charlie’s comments/players’ marks out of 10.
Shelvey man of the match and Clark, Gayle and Colback also very good. If Atsu had put a few good crosses in after great runs, we could have easy got 6 or7.
The refs just keep getting worse – how low can they go?!
2 great chants from the corner – their ginger midfielder – “you’re just a shit Jack Colback” followed by their elderly looking no. 12, the bald midfeld sub- “you’re just a shit Jonjo Shelvey” – good job the corner made some noise second half!!

I like how visibly upset Clark is to concede a goal, even at 3-0. Quite a contrast to Colo shrugging the shoulders and feigning disappointment.

I thought Scott Hogan ( the new Jamie Vardie) may be worth a look the next window !

I was at the match today and it was not quite as comfortable as Ed is making out. After we went 2 0 up we seemed to take our foot off and let Brentford back in. Then in the second half when you thought you could relax at 3 0 we immediately gave them a goal and back to a nervous 2 goal lead. Brentford went very close a couple of times and if they had pulled it back to 3 2 it would have been a very nervous time. Like others have suggested I would have brought on Mitro for Perez with about 20 minutes to go just to give us an outlet.

    AncientC,
That’s a huge difference, a defeat will hurt these players where as it didn’t matter a jot to a manager and group of players who were happy just to get forty points.

You want to go back to war – I’m cool with that.

I can imagine that there’d be a few punches thrown in the dressing room if we conceded five or six now, it would be interesting to see how many 5+ hidings we took with Collo as captain.

Judging by the old saying, “What you don’t know can’t hurt you,” you’re practically invulnerable.
