Jubilant Fans React To Fifth Win In A Row

Newcastle fans  took to Twitter after our 5th successive win in the league against Ipswich and hopefully we can keep winning and start to pull away from the rest of the teams before the next  International break.

There are two more league games and an EFL up tie on Tuesday evening – three more wins would be great.

Maybe even the next International break would even be a little more enjoyable if we win all our six games in this run of games.

Well maybe not.

Ayoze Perez – played really well today
This lad has a lot of talent

Oh and I almost forget – Sunderland lost 1-0 at West Ham and are bottom of the Premier League with 2 points from 9 games.

The midweek Preston game would be a good opportunity to play Gayle either in the Perez role or the Goufrran one. If he can handle either, then it gives us the opportunity to involve Mitro and Murph more, and have Diame compete in a more familiar deeper role. Gayle is scoring goals, but in terms of balance and competition for places him being the main man up top is marginalising or restricting the impact of some real talent and may even be holding us back.
