Almost nine Newcastle fans in ten think we will win this game this afternoon at St. James’ Park against Ipswich Town.

But it’s going to be a tough game and anything less than a win will now be a huge disappointment.

A win will keep us top of the Championship and make it five wins on the trot.

Ipswich with McCarthy will park the bus and hope to steal a win with a set piece, an early goal for us would be fantastic as Ipswich would then hopefully start to play a bit, even then at one down they could still keep the same tactic and hope to nick a draw, I expect this game to be a long hard battle, it could take a two goal lead for us to force then to play, I really do dislike the anti football tactic which McCarthy will play, but he has got to do what he feels is necessary to get a result, it will be up to us to break them down.

The Tractor boys have one of the best defences in the league. We need an early goal, and all those saying 3-0 and more. You’re haviung a laugh. As long as we win, I really don’t care what the score is.

Baxter Basics, one game at a time, get promotion, we aren’t going to do 6-0 every week.

My prediction? 2:1 and some nail biting at the end.
