There was a joker on talksport – one of the presenters ; Chelsea fan I think – bitterly insisting Leeds are a bigger club than us. (He digs at us every chance he gets by the way.) ‘On every level’ he claimed. Well, the usual attack is they’ve won more, but in Leeds’ case not even that is true. They ain’t. They are, like us, a single club city – bigger city in fact – but that’s where it ends.
So they finally sell out for a game – whoopy doo. Well done big boys. It may be 20k less than us but it’s that small for a reason. It’s also against us. If ever a chant of ‘you’ re only here to see Newcastle’ was justified, it will be at Elland Road, where the Man Utd scarves will be put away and the Leeds ones dragged out and dusted down for one game – then it’ll be back to normal. Big club? Dream on Leeds. Give me our wee club in the North East anytime. HTL

Missed the bus again. First post as well. 🙂

Bobby……… Just shows what can happen when you have a deluded wannabe like Ridsdale at the helm. I remember him loving the limelight and tv interviews. Where is he now? And O’ Leary .

Betty, they’re no different from any other mediocre club that had its day – Forest and Derby etc. Anybody can support a successful club, it’s when the team struggles that true support stands out. Leeds ain’t nothing special and never have been. And just on cue my services as designated driver are called upon. (by Designated I mean ‘only’). Quick trip into town and catch when I get back mate. Doh! 🙂
