The following policies should be taken into consideration before commenting:
An update on my health situation - we have terminated the PluVicto treatment halfway through, because of the severity of the side effects - diarrhea, vomiting, and acid reflux.
And there was no evidence the treatment was having any positive effect in stopping the prostate cancer from spreading in the bones.
There are no treatments left for me to go on.I will go into home hospice care now and will have a hospice nurse visit me at home regularly to ensure I am as comfortable as possible and we will treat the side effects of the treatments I have had.
It's down the final stretch now, and I have run out of treatments, and nature will now take its course.
I hope Newcastle can get many wins this season from now on, and I am at peace with all of this.
Thanks for all your help through the years - it's very much appreciated
Ed Harrison

Comment #1Repost:
Sol Bamba – thought he had a decent game for them. Gave away nothing in the air and made 2 potential goal saving interventions, one of which where he outsprinted Atsu! Don’t think he treated Mitro any worse than a whole bunch of others this season, and anyway Mitro’s a big lad who can handle himself!
It was what you picture a typical Warnock team – a long throw expert and a bunch of big lads steaming up from the back.
We didn’t play blindingly well, but handled them none the less.
New bit: =>
Hayden. Love the guy’s attitude. Has to be Shelvey & Hayden in the centre for me

Comment #2What was the average age of our starting 11? Apart from Goofy, everybody was young. So much potential in this team, Rafa is building something really good. Almost every player on the pitch has potential to be better Darlow, Lascelles, Clark, Yedlin, Hayden, Shelvey, Perez, Atsu and Mitro…I think Rafa is loving his project here….

Comment #3Excellent Rafa ‘panel’ – don’t know the correct term – on the right of the screen!

Comment #4Clark has done very well. I was completely underwhelmed by his signing, but he has made that centre half spot his own, and from the bits I’ve seen and heard, seems to be our standout performer.
It is interesting to see Mbemba drop out of the team with very little rotation there in recent weeks. Given Clark and Lascelles seem to have cemented themselves as first choice, and I’d fully expect to see a higher quality centre half brought in if we go up, then he could well be on his way in the next 9 months, or he may need to concentrate on developing in another role. He is often DM for DRC, and has played right back a number of times as well.

Comment #5Judging by the MoM poll and Charlie’s comments Mitro had another good game, despite no goal. He is making it difficult for Rafa to drop him, but Gayle’s form should also see him involved. Rafa doesn’t seem particularly flexible with his tactics, so something will have to give, or one of them (more likely Gayle) goes into a less familiar position.

It sounds like Perez was prettty anonymous in the match.
It’s annoying having to go on hearsay, of course!

Comment #8Trust me Perez was poor.
Looks to be going through the motions, very rarely makes a sizeable contribution. It doesn’t look like a loss of form to me. Doesn’t seem as if he wants to be here, but obviously we don’t know what’s going on off the pitch.

Comment #9Mitro started very well, was causing them lots of problems first half when we were firing. Watching from close quarters he tired rapidly in the second half and also suffered from dwindling service.

Comment #10Perez has to be physically better if he wants to play, he has to show some passion for NUFC. But if he doesnt, Rafa will solve him I think. Maybee he will start sometimes with Mitro and Gayle if that number 10 role player wont contribute to the team…

Comment #11I think it’s odd how Rafa likes to rotate players into and out of the starting line up to keep them fresh but on the other hand doesn’t seem keen on substituting players to freshen things up when they are clearly knackered!
I think that’s one of the reasons we are seeing diminishing performance levels in the 2nd half of games.
If you have Gayle & Mitro vying for a spot, why not give them each a half if you are not going to play them together.
