Glad I don’t sit in the seat I was in today too often. Row one next to the corner flag, Gallowgate west corner. All the action happened up the leazes end the whole first half! 🙂
Not complaining really, beggars can’t be choosers. Loved it anyway!

The type of dirty win that will bring the league trophy home by April !!

Just love the way we are willing to get stuck into these teams and not let them bully us

    David Moyes
“We went to a factory this week, showing the players it is much better to be a footballer than working in a factory”
What a thoughtless way to belittle the thousands of people who work a Nissan, even if half of them are mackems.

Tried to post earlier…god knows where it is since there’s been 300 new articles in the last hour.

Getting a ref from Boro…? Nice. We got no decisions and the linesman in front of us in the milburn had obviously become blind from overexposure to sunbed lamps.

How that eyebrowless freak Warnock reckons all the decisions went against his side I will never know. For one, his team of cloggers scored by actually grabbing the ball in the box.

I’m sick of us having to repeatedly play 14 men. However, I can see us winning every fixture as I am amazed at the unbelievably s**t quality of this league.

    Champions by March 🙂

Oh, and Mitro wasn’t on fire but held the line well even though he was repeatedly fouled (but not in the ref’s eyes) by Sol Bamba, a true clogger.

We do look good for the title, as we should, with the manager we’ve got, and the transfer business we’ve done, but a further 60 million plus on three to four top players minimum will be needed when we go back up. No way Yedlin and Atsu are a frontline pairing on the right. Nor are Dummett and Gouffran on the left.

We’ll need a winger and an attacking mid of real quality, along with a passing central mid to compete with Shelvey, and also probably a fullback, and maybe another centre forward and defensive mid and centre back.

Players who might move on would to my mind include Murphy, Diame, Tiote, Gouffran, Anita, one of Mbemba or Hanley and perhaps Colback.

    Jimmy

Atsu and yedders are not the finished article but are showing lots of promise. And they both have one of the prime ingredients, awe inspiring pace. A season under Rafa’s tutelage and they could become top top players I think, I hope, I know.

Sol Bamba – thought he had a decent game for them. Gave away nothing in the air and made 2 potential goal saving interventions, one of which where he outsprinted Atsu! Don’t think he treated Mitro any worse than a whole bunch of others this season, and anyway Mitro’s a big lad who can handle himself!

It was what you picture a typical Warnock team – a long throw expert and a bunch of big lads steaming up from the back.

We didn’t play blindingly well, but handled them none the less.
