Next Two Transfer Windows Are Key For Newcastle

Rafa Benitez is said to be keen to add good players to his squad in January and in the summer transfer window in order that the Newcastle squad keeps improving.

And that if we do get promoted this season then we can challenge near the top of the Premier League next season.

That’s not too surprising with Rafa only promising to stay last May if he was supported by the club and he has made it clear he stayed on as manager of Newcastle to win trophies.

You need a very good team these days to win any trophy in football.

The times when we do well and then decide we don’t really need to improve the team are past and gone – with Rafa now in charge of all football matters at the club.

Rafa wants to keep improving the squad in every transfer window – like the big clubs do.

The Chronicle is reporting it may not be possible to make signings of big players in January, because they may simply not be available, but Rafa wants some top players brought into the club over the summer months.

Newcastle will look at the January transfer window assuming they will be a Premier League club next season.

Rafa, with the help of Lee Charnley had an outstanding summer transfer window where the manager brought in two top players for every single position in the team.

We are now seeing the substantial benefits of that policy, with competition for places at Newcastle higher than it’s been for many years.

Rafa can make four or five changes to the side and they seem to perform at the same level and play the same way.

Any players coming in during the January transfer window will be players Rafa believes can perform well in the Premier League.

These next two transfer windows are extremely important for the club and should be very exciting for Newcastle fans, especially if we can keep winning our games in the Championship.

But isn’t hearsay evidence treated with scepticism or inadmissible under law?

That’s the spirit Firebug someone has been racially abused (allegedly) – so let’s brand him a slimey little snake.

    Let’s victomise the accused.

Crazy response from many on this site.
Let’s just imagine that Gayle had been abused by a Wolves player. I assume the same people would now be calling Gayle a slimey little snake?

    Thought not.
