Serbia will play Wales on Saturday at the Cardiff City Stadium (7:45 pm kick off) and it should be a very good and close game between two sides who have shown good form of late.
One player who seems in top form is Newcastle striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, who scored 4 goals in two games for us recently and he’s also scored four goals in his last 4 games for his country.

This is what Aleksandar has told the Serbian press today:
“I feel great’ after some troubled times in both league and international football.”
“I think we have a team that can win against Wales.” “We will try to do it and the aim is of course three points.”
“I feel great, in good shape. I hope to continue in this form and that will help the team in Wales.” “Our games are showing that we deserve the trust of the nation.”
“If we play as a team and if we do what the manager asks of us, there shouldn’t be a problem.” “Wales is not only Gareth Bale, they have a lot of good quality.”
“We need to really pay attention to Allen and Ramsey”
“Tadic is a great master and it really is easy playing next to him.”
“Just let Tadic steer us through the match in Cardiff and pick the passes as only he knows how.”
Serbia currently lead UEFA Group D with 7 points from their first 3 games and they are level on points with the Republic of Ireland and 2 points ahead of Wales – who reached the semi-finals of the Euro 2016 Championships in France in the summer, only to be beaten by two second half goals by eventual winners Portugal.
Newcastle left-back Paul Dummett could be playing for Wales against Mitro on Saturday, so that will be interesting if Paul can pick up his 3rd cap for Wales after having a good season for Newcastle with 16 appearances so far for Rafa Benitez Championship topping side.
