Rafa’s Emotional Words On Web-Site – A Prize For All At Newcastle

Rafa has made it very clear that his award as Manager of the Month for October is an award for all the hard work that has been done at Newcastle by a lot of different people and the fans and the City of Newcastle share in the award.

The words on his web-site today show just what a team player he is and it’s not a surprise that his strong leadership has brought not only the players together into a very strong team, but he’s brought together everybody associated with Newcastle United Football Club.

And that includes the City of Newcastle.

Rafa Benitez with his coaching staff and award

This is what Rafa has put up on his web-site:

“I have just been informed that I have been awarded the ‘best coach of the month for October ‘ by the LMA and I am honored to accept.”

“However, as we all know, in a collective sport like football, the whole is greater than the sum of the parts and would not be possible without the effort, collaboration of all those who make up a team.”

“Starting from the players, the coaching staff and all at the club, come together to combine and achieve their objective.”

“To make fans happy who support their club through good and bad times, week in, week out.”

“To all the staff, players and contributors, I appreciate their daily support.”

“I receive this award in their name and for the city. This is a prize for all.”

“Come on Toons!”

Rafa is showing himself to be a brilliant manager at Newcastle United and such a warm-hearted and inspirational figure too.

Long may this all continue.

IMO some ones agent is readying himself to renegotiate a new contract, with a higher wag and a cut for his own input.

Bojan doesn’t seem happy with Stoke at the moment… I wonder if Hughes would be willing to part company with him to raise funds.

A trio of Ritchie, Bojan, Insigne/Depay behind the striker would do nicely.

Apparently Depay is on 90k a week, for a new 5 year deal I am sure he would take less.

http://www.football-italia.net/92666/insigne-wage-row-napoli Insigne is allegedly demanding 4.5 million Euros per year at Napoli – around £75k a week. More affordable, but a host of clubs would be chasing him.

Being linked with the likes of Darren Bent, Kone and Scott Sinclair isn’t going to cut it anymore. (I hope)
