Ayoze Perez Wins Goal Of The Month For October – Video

Good News this morning that Newcastle striker Ayoze Perez has come out on top of the voting for the  October Sky Bet Goal of the Month.

Perez got a huge 64% of the vote and beat out both Aston Villa’s Jonathan Kodjia and Norwich City’s Wes Hoolahan for the award.

Every player gets a touch. Ipswich barely get a sniff. Surely one of the greatest ever starts to a football game.

The raking pass from Shelvey to the left wing totally undid Ipswich.
Hopefully we’ll have him for at least Leeds , Blackburn and Hull and fingers crossed for no ban at all !

Ed….is there any logical reason why I get a different headline banner on my ipad than on my PC?

clinath@ed @7 – It will be to do with cached memory. When a page is loaded if the browser thinks the information on part of a page hasn’t changed then it takes it from stored memory rather than download it again – this is to speed up webpage loading. On IE you can clear temporary files & webform information etc. I don’t use an Ipad but there must be an equivalent to clear temporary files etc. in it’s web browser.

Apparently we are playing on a pitch full of snakes.

That has to be a little bit unfair!!

Rafa’s press conference at 1 p.m. today – probably later than usual because of extra time to assess the International returnees.

Jib – I haven’t heard of any injuries to our lads. Also did Wales or Serbia play a second game or were the players released soon after their match?

25 passes. That has to be some sort of English league record. But because we’re newcastle, no other teams will give a toss

Mitro was returning from Kharkiv wednesday morning
Ritchie and Hanley were only in London.
DeAndre Yedlin crossed the Atlantic yesterday
Mbemba also returning from Canakry Guinea after playing a full game for DRCongo
    Matz Sels back from Belgium
Christian Atsu returning from Alexandria after playing a full 90 against Egypt for Ghana.

On the contrary. Rafa says ‘we are Newcastle United’. The rest of the world are taking notice!

Not many fans in Italy or Spain would normally take much notice of us, but when you have an elite UEFA manager in charge of the club getting Europes twelfth highest gate while in the second tier and sitting nicely at the top, we become international news.
