These Are Two Excellent Changes Made By Newcastle

Newcastle United have made two announcements today and both of them are very good for the faithful but long-suffering fans.

We got an email about 10:00am today saying the new Newcastle United TV was going to be free of charge and since we had a subscription, we would be getting a refund.

Free Newcastle United TV is a move Newcastle should be congratulated for – making all the videos, including the match videos, available to all our fans everywhere – well done.

Lee Charnley Thumbs Up

Lee Charnley – he’s right – it is thumbs up

And the new web-site which we knew the club had been working on for a while – is now in beta-mode and available to browse.

Here’s the new Newcastle United website so you can take a look – it looks very modern and very smart.

These are changes that are long overdue, but the club is definitely moving in the right direction.

It seems that Rafa is bringing a fan’s view to the club – he seems to know exactly what the fans want.

Here are the announcements made today on Newcastle’s Twitter account.

Monk says he is determined to beat us, and?

He is hardly going to tell his players to go out saying let’s not try to beat them, same applies you would hope to any manager of any team in any league. Duuuh!

Doesn’t mean they are going to beat us, in fact they won’t.

I see that the voting on result has 970 thinking we will not win. O ye of little faith!

Think we need a new driver Bill. Talk about stating the obvious. Now that would have been a story ‘Monk tells players to lose against Newcastle’. Every club we play goes out with the intention of beating us, it’s just easier to say than to do. We’re on a good run and want to extend that run. If the sell out crowd – you’re only here to see Newcastle – is their secret weapon then it’s a dud. Medium sized crowds don’t phase us one bit. We get bigger crowds for League Cup games.

Could it be that Monk’s signalling that his players will play a hard or dirty game? Does he do that sort of game?

And with regard to getting access to the free NUFC Tv, does one have to be a member of whatever? If so, what and at what cost? How do fans register? Being an IT dummy that doesn’t use the likes of Twatter or Facebook, can folk register via the NUFC website?

Brighton v Villa tonight, a draw would be good for us I reckon.

Any one see Obama getting into his car today on the news today.

The car door was around a foot thick, I reckon it would probably stop a rocket.

It’s possible that he might be a Toon supporter, probably not but it does add some Toon related relevance football to a political comment.

Also FIFA are apparently discussing today what to do about the Scots and England wearing the poppy. It’s a load of b*llocks.

On the new website I forgot to say lesh, which by the way is 10x better than the old attempt.

    Thanks Average

Did the name give it away? I don’t know whether folk paid for NUFC TV within a paid-for membership of something else and the new development being that fans still pay to be a part of something but NUFC TV’s now free. If that makes sense.

I cannot tell you how glad I am to hear this. About frigging time. My voice has been heard!! Let’s hope the site shows how much the previous one sucked and the commentary doesn’t drop.
