Is This Newcastle’s Starting Eleven For Leeds?

It’s always very difficult to know exactly which team Rafa is going to pick for any game, but we’ll give it a go for tomorrow’s difficult fixture at Leeds United.

Rafa may want to turn to experience for this game in front of a sold-out Elland Road crowd, which is why Vurnon Anita could come back in for young American DeAndre Yedlin at right back.

Otherwise the defense could be the same as last time out at home to Cardiff City.

Matt Ritchie should return to the right wing position after serving his one match ban for picking up five yellow cards.

Mohamed Diame is an extremely experienced player and could return in the number 10 withdrawn striker position and the in-form Aleksandar Mitrovic could continue up front with leading scorer Dwight Gayle still on the bench.

So here’s the side we expect Rafa to start tomorrow.

Darlow
Anita Lascelles (c) Clark Dummett
Hayden Shelvey
Ritchie Diame Gouffran
Mitrovic

That’s 3 changes to the side that started at home to Cardiff City.

What team would you start at Leeds United tomorrow?

Looking at the PL table Hull could sack off our cup game couldnt they? Losing 3 nil to a relegation rival is going to pull the focus surely

Sunderland no longer bottom because of it as well, Defoe and Anichebe might be a decent partnership

Betty, funny you pasted that because as soon as Jeff starting talking I knew he was teeing up the opposite from Kammy, so did laugh at that as well. I was waiting for the punchline. Recorded it and sent it to my mate. Another friend noticed and laughed at it as well.

    Funny stuff.

I’d quite like Mitro to keep his place – because he’s had his chance and taken it. Not just with goals, but with man of the match awards as well.

As long as he gets service.

If lascelles or Clark was injured then yes mbemba would start but Lazaar won’t be playing if dummet is fit.

Laurent…….. I think they’ve all sussed Pardew now for the spoofer he is. 5 defeats on the bounce now and he’s had money to spend with control of signings. Watching him squirm in the coming weeks will be fun.

WW……… There are other things other than injury that could rule players out . For example missing the team coach, family bereavement. Having a big row with the manager etc etc.

No you not being harsh, Swans have been crap this season, everyone I know will say the same thing, but like I said before swans have been in the premier league 6 years, this year is the only year swans have been awful.

Monk was chucked in the deep end with swans, no managerial experience went from player to manager, exactly the same thing happened when Newcastle put shearer in charge.
