The news today is that Rafa Benitez took in some of the famous landmarks of Newcastle yesterday along with fitness coach Francisco de Miguel Moreno and two of his first team coaches, Mikel Antia and Antonio Gomez Perez.
The reports are that Rafa was keen to learn about Newcastle’s long history and he did take to Twitter to put out some photos of sights he had visited including the Keep and the Black Gate.

Former Newcastle and Liverpool player Didi Hamaan picked up on the tweet and made this comment.
Not sure what it says but it’s got to be complementary. Vamos Rafa https://t.co/86T4cZ3y9I

Well Didi’s right because what the caption in Rafa’s tweet is the Pride of the Geordies.
So with Rafa immersing himself in the history of Newcastle, there’s just no way he would ever want to join West Ham if they do sack Slaven Bilic and offer him the job.
That’s right isn’t it?
The Black Gate
Here’s some information on the (Old) Castle in Newcastle.
There may be a test on it tomorrow….
