Newcastle Player Accepts FA Misconduct Charge

Jack Colback has accepted a misconduct charge lodged by the FA back in March.

The new regulations were put in place in 2014 and they state that both players and coaches in the game are not allowed to bet on any football games anywhere in the world.

The FA charge was that Jack had breached these new rules when he placed a bet on March 16th.

Jack was fined £25K by the FA after he accepted the charge that he had broken the (new) FA Rule E8.

Unless they are betting on games they are directy involved in I don’t really see a problem with it to be honest.

I think it’s just a heavy handed belt and braces in case a player who knows a coach who knows a director who knows another player and so on and so forth ad infinitum.

Good times (kinda) when he wasn’t being violent towards the punters.
