Darlow, Yedlin, Dummett And Perez All Start

Nottingham Forest .svgnufc-emblem

Rafa Benitez has just named his side for the difficult game at Nottingham Forest tonight at the City Ground and it’s a strong side with four changes made from the side that started at Hull City on Tuesday night.

In come Karl Darlow, DeAndre Yedlin, Paul Dummett and Ayoze Perez for Sels, Anita, Lazaar and Diame.

We had Diame in for Perez in our side so we were one player off.

This is a really important game tonight and we really need the win and all 3 points.

This what manager Rafa Benitez has said about the game tonight:

“Forest are an offensive team and they are dangerous when they attack.” “They are also exposed when they are attacking because they leave space behind.”

“That is always a challenge for us.” “We’ve done well away and we are not conceding any goals.”

“Hopefully we can be as strong as we have been in the past, keep attacking and scoring goals – that’s the perfect balance.”

“We know that it will be tough and we have to be ready after playing extra time and penalties so soon.”

The ratio of fans who think we can win this game is down considerably compared with our most recent league games.

Ah well, I had Mitro instead of Gayle, but anyway lets get a win tonight, and get back on track.

A goal for Perez tonight could do his confidence the world of good, but….well in my opinion he is just to lightweight gets brushed aside far too easily, and he needs to keep it simple (no need for all the trickery that comes to nowt all to often).

Pass and move Perez, pass and move!

Jib, Perez will be fine tonight as Dummets playing – whipping boys favourite player to whinge about, they make me chuckle when they say he’s a championship player … it’s like they think we’re playing in the champions league and not the championship

Thought I would share this. My mate has just been on the phone. He is coming back from work and flying into Newcastle from Aberdeen. He is only sitting next Alan Shearer. Wonder what he is doing there ? Mind you my mate always talks sh**e. Ha ha.

Whether Perez, Summer or whoever, there’s some on here who must have a down on certain players.

It’s not healthy for a fan to be looking at the negatives in players. Why can’t they just support the lads and accept that Rafa wouldn’t play players who he felt weren’t up to iy.

I think if Perez has a good game we will play a lot better as a team. He has the talent, we have all seen it in the PL. I espesially likes the way he used to turn with players at his back and find space to run into. Im backing him to find his form again!

    Howay the Lads!!
