Rafa Benitez has talked to the local press ahead of tonight’s game at the City Ground, where it will be important to get back to winning again.
We have lost the last two games and it’s still painful to lose – especially when they were two games we thought we could win.
But that’s now past and gone and the lads must somehow get a win against an in-form Nottingham Forest side tonight in Nottingham.
Henri Lansbury – Nottingham Forest midfielder
One of their best players is the former Arsenal youngster Henri Lansbury and the 26 year-old has been playing well for them since he joined over four years ago.
Nottingham Forest are involved in games with lots of goals and that’s mainly because they score a lot – 32 goals – but they also concede a lot – 32 goals.
This is what Rafa has said before the game, starting with the disappointing loss on Tuesday after extra time:
“We were disappointed after the game, but the way that we played against a Premier League – by having so many chances – we have to take the positives.”
“Forest are an offensive team and they are dangerous when they attack.” “They are also exposed when they are attacking because they leave space behind.”
“That is always a challenge for us.” “We’ve done well away and we are not conceding any goals.”
“Hopefully we can be as strong as we have been in the past, keep attacking and scoring goals – that’s the perfect balance.”
“Lansbury is a good player and they have some good players around him.”
“We know that it will be tough and we have to be ready after playing extra time and penalties so soon.”
“We have to make some changes, but hopefully we can manage the intensity of the game.”
