Newcastle Fans Take To Twitter On Pardew Sacking

Here’s a sampling of comments made by Newcastle fans after Alan Pardew was fired today by Crystal Palace after a really woeful 2016.

We’ve tried to keep it clean and not too negative but as you may expect there are a lot worse comments than these on the Twitter hashtag #nufc.

Yes – maybe we are being too kind – but Christmas is close.

🙂

Seems like Mr Average just never gets the glory of seeing out his projects to get teams relegated. He does all the hard work, and some lucky mug gets to step in and take all the glory of the drop. One day, Alan. One day…

Yohan and Andros must be a couple of bedraggled looking figures these days. What possibility do you think of them both waving at us as we pass by?

“At 302 games, Pardew is the 10th most experienced Premier League manager in history.”

That tells us something about club owners!

It would appear that after all is said and done, it was probably Old man Carrs signings that disguised just how bad the King truly was.

    A post from the Grauniad:-

    Hey guys!! 🙂

Well this news was expected. He’s not premier league quality, mainly because he has no plan B. He starts good because teams don’t know his formula, but once the counter to his formula is figured out he doesn’t have a plan B to get around that. See you in the championship Pards aha!!

With palace he spoke his mind to much and with us he just lied. He just does not grasp the concept of having the backing of people. Only piss them off. He will never learn and probably the last decent job he will get in the premier league. That’s how the cookie crumbles. Payback is a ….

To be fair, it takes real genius to go from potential England manager to foraging in dustbins so spectacularly.

To be fair to Cabaye it did look like the move to PSG was a good one for him. His subsequent move to CP was possibly the best offer he could get at the time.

Turncoat Townsend is a different story.

His lack of tactical nous, flexibility in those tactics and ability to read a game aside…..

Mad-Serb has it correct. It’s his personality that will always be his fatal flaw. Fairly charismatic and sees himself as a leader of the lads type, initially brings good morale and therefore an upturn in results. Eventually they lose respect because of how he carries himself (we’ve all heard stories about The King) and as his ego gets out of hand he begins to rub people up the wrong way with his blame game, they take a disliking to him, when players do that to a football manager there’s only decline in performances and results to come and so that has been the Pardew pattern for his entire career. It’s also why players appear to get ‘Pardewed’

We’ve all known people that you liked to begin with, but then after been around them for a while they grate on you and then every little thing they do irritates.

Think you older gents call them wives.

If pardew is to even manage PL teams again his contract will last less that 6 months, the teams who choose him are those who’ve sacked a manger feb or later. They’ll use his very short term good game to help get out of relegation. Once the season ends he’s replace with a decent manager.

Pardew does have one bit of good luck on his side, he still has an england potential. The FA still insist on english managers and the list is running out. The team itself is so sh1t that it would take a miricle for even a manager of his standards to make it sh1tter and those who do watch games won’t mind boring games they’re probably use to it and deem it a standard thing now

We took a hell of a lot from CP fans who were giving it all that about how deluded etc we were. We even took it from people on here, so forgive us if we have our day after hearing this news. As someone said it’s vindication. We can move on tomorrow.

Rotonda, you can can Toonking onto there as well. Biggest fans.

Palace have had it lucky. We endured months and months and months more of what they’ve just had.

All those lists of excuses he had here, owner included – NONE were carried over. He was quite literally in the most comfortable job he could have asked for there. Still the same abysmal result.

Why? It was obvious once you understood the shocking football which was on display, and could see through his weekly lies and misdirection. Lies, blagging and excuses.
